Cyrus, the plumber for this company is the rudest individual I’ve experienced in quite a while. He came out to complete a job at our property and didn’t want to complete it because “he would get home too late” even after he said he was on call for the night. When I asked his name after our interaction, he refused to provide it. He left the property without doing the work and now we’re in a predicament because of his actions. Whatever you do, stay far away from this company! We will no longer be using them at our property.
We have had 2 different companies come out and the city as well to try to fix our sewage problem. None of them were competent enough to fix the problem or even find it. Within an hour of being at our home Carolinas Finest Plumbing had the problem fixed. Wonderful service and very professional. I could not be happier! You guys are truely a blessing, thank you so much!
Company is a radically over priced., we called them out for a repair, they came and fixed it,$300 then called them back as the issue resumed. He charged another $300 to repair the repair all of 5 min in the building, had to call them back as the problem still exist, now they want $950 to install a new sink..., however not no more. The 1 star is for Customer service which is good then they screw you on the over pricing.Services: Plumbing leak detection
The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because they did fix the problem, but it was a nightmare dealing with this company. I had an issue with another contractor driving heavy equipment over a pipe in the front yard which backed up my sewage line. This company came out and replaced that section of the pipe at quite a high price. Dealing with the insurance company to get reimbursed for this expense and the plumbers refused to call me or email me back after numerous attempts. There were some roots in the line, but those could have remained for several more years without issue and the plumbers refused to agree this incident was a catalyst to the problem. Very unprofessional!
Carolina’s Finest Plumbing replaced two water heaters in my home. Later we found out that the soldering at one of the pipe fittings was faulty and spraying water. The company at first admitted that they had installed the water heaters improperly. However, when dealing with our insurance company, they denied that they were responsible for the resultant water damage. I can accept that people make mistakes, as they did in their installation. But for them to later deny responsibility because it might affect their insurance ratings, I find that despicable. Of course I will never trust that company again. I encourage all others to stay far away from Carolina’ Finest Plumbing. Their plumbing is lousy, and their ethics are much worse.
The office informed me that before work began I would know the what it would cost to fix. None of that information was provided. On top of that the bill is way over the top. At almost 250$ an hour. The truck should show up with all parts ready to go. This was a minor fix $10 parts to fix. And of coarse the truck didn't have the part. Another hour of time for not being a good company that has parts. The final bill wasnear $650. In total I needed 4 couplings and two pieces of pipe a foot each. Should have taken less than 30 min to fix. This company is a rip off. I do not recommend this company to anybody
Mr. Jerry Withrow's job was based on a pre-existing condition whereby the water heaters in the closet downstairs had been leaking for some time causing damage to the hardwood floor. The original heaters had not been installed correctly due to the fact no pans or drains were installed. The problem wasn't even noticed until the floor outside this space showed damage from the leaking units. We replaced the heaters to code and are/were not responsible for pre-existing conditions, therefore no insurance issues were relevent. We're sorry he has misunderstood the original nature of the problem and our resolution. CFP maintains a AAA rating with the BBB and has for over 20 years.
