First and last time I will go and see her. Went to her for a physical exam and felt like she was pushing through the appointment. Then she sends me for a mammogram and the feedback she provided on the original results were poorly communicated. When I sent a note back through the patient portal she acted as if I should not have questioned her poor communication. Last time I checked, it's MY health and I have every right to question unclear communication. She was short in follow-up responsive. Ordered another diagnostic mammogram, even when I questioned the need and the high cost of the services she recommend. Against my better judgement, I went and got it done and the Piedmont people who provided my estimates were beyond incompetent. I paid out of pocket on the day of my visit for the 2 codes Sigman recommended and now I'm facing almost $1000 in additional charges that were not disclosed to me when I got the estimate prior to my visit and the day of. Been fighting with Piedmont no calls back despite multiple efforts on my part and Radiology Associates of Atlanta who are even worse than Piedmont. Complete violations of Patient Bill of Rights under Georgia Law. Stay away from Sigman, Piedmont Healthcare and Radiology Associates of Atlanta BTW... this is who Piedmont uses so if you get Mammo, Ultrasound, MRI through Piedmont you are using them... do yourself a favor and stay away.
I've been seeing Dr. Sigman now for about 4 years, and she is the best doctor I've ever had. She literally saved my life when a scan she did revealed I had prostate cancer. Always professional but with a welcoming personality, I highly recommend.
I did not have a good experience with Dr. Carolyn Sigman. She does not do comprehensive exams after you tell her, and she gives you long drawn out explanations as too why, but charges $1400 for an annual physical. She does not tell you that your vital signs are out of range nor do a follow-up. She also cuts corners. She tells you will only get 30 minutes of her time. And she does not check your ears, eyes, or heart rhythm, at least she did not check mine.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Sigman since 2018. She is phenomenal and thorough. She is easy to talk to and a great listener. I need a doctor who will listen to me and is not dismissive.
Dr. Sigman is the most caring, understanding, relatable, professional doctor I've every had. Her entire staff is caring, compassionate and professional. She does not rush you through your appointment, she is thorough beyond compare. I really am hesitant to post this review because I do not want her to end up with such a full calendar that I can't get in when I need her!
I'm seeing Dr. Sigman for years now and can say she's the absolute best. She provides professional primary care, is understanding, a good listener and a highly competent doctor who helped me get rid of symptoms that were bothering me for years.
Dr. Sigman is phenomenal. She is always so upbeat and happy to see her patients. She seems to really care about you and your well-being. Some doctors seem like they just want you in and out as quick as possible. Not with Dr. Sigman. I feel like she really enjoys the work she does and wants what is best for you. This office is a newer building with easy free parking. The staff is always polite and professional. I never have to wait long. If the other doctors here are half as good as Dr. Sigman then this is an excellent place to receive care. Highly recommend!
Thanks to the clerical staff at the location. However, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Carolyn Sigman, I am a new patient and was denied. I was at the appointment within my grace period and the doctor refused to see me because their lab closed early. I'm highly upset because I was lost and Dr. Sigmon did not accept. I was within my grace period, it is not my fault the lab closed due to lack of staff, and the MD is rude. I never met her but the act of being denied bc your facility was not prepared.
Dr. Sigman is the absolute best. The staff was so kind and attentive during my visit. I enjoyed talking with Dr. Sigman. She listened and was very attentive to me. She is a really nice, sweet and kind hearted person. Anyone that visits, will leave encouraged.
Dr. Sigman is a good doctor. She was my PCP for over 20 years. The reason I have given her 1 star is based on our last encounter. I had an appointment. I was late stuck in traffic and I called and was told I had a 15 minute window, and that when I arrived I should call. I arrived 5 minutes late and called 4 times before someone would pick up and was advised that I didn’t need to call at all. When I got to the lobby, there was one person behind the desk checking in a line of people. When another receptionist arrived, I explained the delay and she told me that she would talk to the nurse and let her know it wasn’t my fault. The nurse didn’t care and said that Dr. Sigman would not see me. I went to another doctor within Piedmont. Two months later, Dr. Sigman sent me a message through my chart saying I needed a follow up test. I asked her to order it and she refused. She told me to have my new PCP call in the order. I explained what happened on that day but she did not care. She said that she longer wanted to be my primary care provider. This is a doctor that treated my grandmother, who treats my mother and father. I was upset about what happened the day of the appointment. Miscommunication and limited staff.
