Carriage House of New Hope

Wow! What a charming, amazing place to stay! We were nervous because we had only seen the place online, but we were in awe of the elegance and the size of the place when we arrived! Making matters even better was the location to all the bars and restaurants and of course the 5-star service from the manager Jimmy! If you rent the suite 13, please know there is complimentary parking which was very helpful. They were more than accommodating! The best place to stay in New Hope if you want to have a water view and be right in the middle of the action!

Stayed in room 13 for my wedding and we’re so glad we did. The rooms are spectacular and the views are amazing! It was so spacious and great for getting ready. I have the best memories of our time here, if you’re on the fence about whether or not it’s worth the splurge I can tell you I have no regrets!

I stayed in Suite 13 the night before and night of my wedding, and the Carriage House was one of the best parts of my entire wedding experience. I had to postpone my wedding multiple times, and the Carriage House was always accommodating in my reschedules and extremely prompt in their responses. When I checked in with my Maid of Honor, the two employees we spoke with were so warm and welcoming, and really got us excited for our stay! When we entered the building, we loved the privacy and quiet environment. Upon entering our suite, we were like kids in a candy store, completely enamored by the beauty of the layout, decor, and beautiful view. The suite was two stories with two bathrooms and was the perfect spot for getting ready in the morning with my bridesmaids. We had breakfast in the large, inviting kitchen, watched Netflix cuddled up with the cozy blankets on the comfortable sectional couch, and sat out on the balconies chatting and enjoying the serene view. The location is great and my Maid of Honor and I walked probably two minutes to pick up dinner from Stella - it’s right in the center of where everything fun to do locally is! It did not feel like a hotel, but rather like a home, and we felt so comfortable and welcome there that we never wanted to leave! It was the perfect place to return to after an outside wedding in the summer heat, to use the beautiful shower and rest in the comfy bed upstairs that had plenty of pillows! I think we’ll have to come back every year for our anniversary. I couldn’t possibly be happier with our stay.

If you stay in the Carriage House please know that you will have a view from bed that is of a restaurant and bar. Specifically people smoking or exiting the backstairs will be on the level of your balcony and have a full view directly into the room, as you have full view of them. You cannot see any view of water from the bed. You only see the back of the restaurant from bed, and it’s close. Maybe 30-40 yards away again...on the same level as the rooms. Had the setup the room with the bed on the opposite facing wall...you would have a full view of the River form bed but the TV has that view. In the summer you can sit outside and be quite close to the river, however you will also be in view of the individuals standing on the back stairs of the restaurant, smoking and exiting. The room is not setup to provide privacy or a water view from inside.

The place is gorgeous and very relaxing. The river view is amazing.The landscaping and cleanliness of the inn are top notch. Concierge service was polite and accommodating. We had dinner at Stella and walked off dessert around town after. It was a great day celebrating our anniversary We are fortunate to be able to stay at the inn because it is very expensive. I just wish there was a little more something for the money being spent. $400 a night gets 1 bottle of water and complimentary coffee. No morning muffin or continental breakfast. A Snickers cost $6!?! Parking is $20 a night and could easily be included in the stay. I would return for the tranquility but would have a hard time justifying the expense. Thank you for the views and time well spent.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Carriage house! We went out to get food and brought it back because we didn’t want to leave the room. It had the luxury feel of a hotel but still cozy like you’re at home. Lounging in front of the fireplace while watching the view was the perfect way to spend our 10 year anniversary!! We are already planing our next trip.

New Hopes Hidden Gem! Booked the Carriage House for a special occasion. Was met by a charming Concierge who gave a tour of the Inn and grounds. The Room and grounds were so relaxing and very clean! The Inn is right in the center of town and you could walk to everything easily. The view is so beautiful overlooking the river and the sound of the falls by the playhouse was so relaxing. Very impressed and will defiantly be back! Would give it 6 stars if that option was available.

This may be the most beautifully situated location in all of Bucks County. If you are looking for a romantic getaway weekend, this is the place. If you are looking to relax and enjoy all that New Hope has to offer, this is the place. If you need to get away from everyday life, this is the place. Plush bedding, beautifully appointed common areas, and million dollar views. We were fortunate enough to stay in the two-story suite. The kitchen was truly a fully equipped, gourmet kitchen. Other places may say this, but Carriage House delivers - Subzero, Wolf, Le Creuset. You want for nothing while you are at the Carriage House - plenty of towels, extra blankets, and fabulous robes. Each day, you are treated to yummy goodies from a local confectioner or bakery. Leave your car at home, because this location is in the heart of New Hope. Everything is just steps from the Carriage House. Restaurants, spas, shopping, the canal, Starbucks, and the bridge to Lambertville, NJ. Just walk out on your private balcony and enjoy the view of the Bucks County Playhouse, waterfall, river, and the buzz of New Hope.

The location was perfect, the room was gorgeous and VERY comfortable. We gathered with my Brother and sister-in-law to share a celebratory bottle of champagne prior to a a wonderful dinner in the common area which was cozy and perfect for us to catch up prior to a more upbeat read Noisy dinner. We will be back this summer... booking early :

Comfortable bed and room. They went out of their way to accommodate some dietary restrictions. 12 minute walk to center of town so we could avoid the bad traffic and lack of parking in New Hope.
