This place is amazing! CHINO’s diamond in the rough. I had the chilaquiles, café de olla and a mulita de asada. My wife had the chilaquiles verdes; All was delicious and the customer service was super! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this should be your must go to. Be patient because I can assure you it is freshly made.
Place was clean and the people are nice. Prices went up. I had the pozole which was really good. This is the only place I know that has hard shell tacos that are deep fried which I prefer, not griddle fried. I tried the birria and carnitas taco plates. They were good, but they ran out of the consome which made the birria taco a little dry. I'll have to come back and try the other soups.
If I could give a zero I would. They took 30 minutes to make two carne asada burritos, or should I say, two rice burritos with a sprinkle of carne asada. The green salsa looked and tasted like they added water. The tip that was given to the hostess was snatched from my bf’s hand and thrown in the jar, her attitude was terrible! To top everything off, they ran out of cups. Had to hold the bag of Jamaica the entire ride. There is a store across the street and a liquor store right next door…buy some cups. Not worth the $$$
Good but pricey for a small shop. But they serve quality meat and make their own tortillas. Just fyi NO HAPPY HOUR! and no taco Tuesday specials Too bad…
I have been here about five times. I have ordered the carne asada burrito every time. During my first visit, it was great. However, we did speak about it being my first time there. I have been back four times since my first visit over the last year and half, and I have been disappointed every time since. The burrito was basically a dry bean and rice burrito with no meat. It had some salsa, but not good at all. There are sooooo many other Mexican restaurants in Chino, so if you want a good burrito, try another place. If you want an day old rice and bean burrito, this is your place. I really tried to like Casa Victoria, but feel that i gave them more than enough chances.....best of luck to you.
Casa Victoria is a little hole in the wall type of place where you can find delicious, authentic Mexican food. I've tried a few different items during my visits and my favorites are the chile relleno and cocido. The only reason why I am not giving Casa Victoria 5 stars is because there is no bathroom available for customers. The bathroom is for employees only and I feel that if you are eating in there should be a bathroom available for it's customers. I will say that the one time we ate there the lady was kind enough to let my daughter wash her hands but when you have small children it's nice to know there is a bathroom nearby. Other than that I highly recommend their food and will continue to be a customer.
My sisters recently moved to chino and still had not explored food around their area. My boyfriend and I were searching for Mexican food and let me tell you. This place was delicious. We are very picky when it comes to Mexican food. The corn tortillas and chille relleno were freshly made to order, and my chille verde burrito was so melt in your mouth tender. I will definitely be going again.
Hand made tortillas and cafe de la hoya. Need I say more? Very delicious home style Mexican food. Same as you would get at ama's house. Had the chile relleno plate with 2 eggs on the side. The tortillas and the coffee hit the spot.
Amazing fresh Mexican food. The quesadillas are my favorite but everything I've tried so far has been delicious.
Carnitas burrito was dry and at least 2-3 day old refried meat. The beans tasted burned and the rice was super mushy. One of the worst burritos so far I've had.
