This place is awesome! Simple menu, and everything is delicious. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Not cheap, but NOT overpriced. Bring cash.

What an amazing experience! The only place open on the entire block! We had 2 dozen raw oysters and a whole oyster loaf. It was huge! Seriously a gem in new orleans! Friendly staff! Very good food! What more can you ask for! Highly recommend!

Came to New Orleans with the family for the weekend and out of everything we did, this adorable little restaurant exceeded our expectations. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was excellent! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! We sincerely enjoyed the overall experience eating here! 10/10 would recommend!

FAT oysters! Such a lovely family- I think they had more fun watching us do the Shooters.

Been under the same family for 101 years. Seafood gumbo, shrimp and fried oysters were very good.

Absolutely enjoyed every dish we ordered. The service is excellent. The oysters are sooooo good. The gumbo is rich and flavorful. The crab claws were hot and fried perfectly. We also had 1/2 shrimp loaf and spaghetti w/meatballs. Sorry for no pics of the loaf or spaghetti. Everyone was really nice.

Very good. Had CJs special fries along with our catfish and oyster platter. Even raw oysters were salty. Feeling better about oyster season!
