Cash Store

I had a great smooth experience at the cash store. High interest rate but I was cool with it because nobody else would guarantee me a loan. They don't go by your credit like check n go!! Devon was the guy who helped me and he was great and very professional

Obviously, taking out a payday loan should be your absolute last resort, as the interest rates are disgusting, but indeed I had exhausted any other means to get cash so I decided to give The Cash Store a try. After filling out an online application, I spoke to a representative via telephone to make sure I had all the required documents. I did. I made the 40 minute drive, and once I got there began the lengthy process. About 40 minutes in, I gave them my debit card, which they called the collateral (which doesn't make sense since it is supposed to be an unsecured loan), and I was told that due to no fault of my own, that my card was not compatible with their system. This was a working debit card, connected to my checking account, which I was told over the phone would be sufficient since I did not have personal checks. It wasn't. Desperately in need of cash, I decided to go ahead (foolishly I know) and get a Title loan, since I happened to have my free and clear Car Title with me. After blowing over an hour of time now, they told me they could not give me a Title loan because the perfectly legal free and clear car title I gave them wasn't up to their standards. I had to drive back empty handed. The staff was generally nice and seemed somewhat competent, but overall this was not a good experience. The next day I went to the Check 'n Go which is less than a block away with the exact same documents, and I had no trouble.

Horrible place. Do not go here no matter how desperate you are. There is a differant place down the street that will be much better for you. The cash store will give you one amount for a pay off then tell you oh sorry that is not correct

Cash store is ok if you can afford to pay the interest they charge. Don't even try to pay off early cause it is not possible. Im going around the corner like my sister did, here I come check n go!
