WOW - simply delicious and fantastic service. Both of our servers were SO kind, thoughtful, cheerful, and attentive. The food was phenomenal. My colleague and I are on a work trip and have been having the worst time finding good food; Caspian Bistro blew us out of the water. Everything was fresh and warm, the rice was cooked perfectly of course, the guava juice was to DIE for, and it was some of the best hummus I’ve tasted. We ate until we thought we would die and still have SO much food left to bring to work tomorrow. Easily the best restaurant I’ve been to in ages. The interior decorating is also very charming!
I’ve heard so many great things about this place and the food. I decided to give it a try. The customer service was great, everyone working there were super friendly. That’s the reason I’m giving them a 3 star, because while the service was great, the food, unfortunately, was not the best. I ordered eggplant appetizer, I am a huge fan of eggplants cooked all sorts of ways so I thought I can’t go wrong. I took one small bite and was going to puke, it tasted horrible. Husband later told me it was cooked with sheep fat and that’s the reason it tasted the way it did I am absolutely disgusted with anything sheep, I can’t stand the taste. I ordered chicken wings dipped in pomegranate syrup and those weren’t bad. I ordered an ice cream desert, and it was amazing until I found a piece of hair in there. All in all, I don’t think I’ll stop there any time soon. P.s. I did love the decor and all the nice art pieces.
Absolutely incredible food and atmosphere. With an outdoor patio, grocery section, and tons of art lining the walls, you will feel transported during your dining experience. The food was as beautifully presented as it was delicious; I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. I will say, the falafel were somewhat spongy and seemed reheated. I’m not sure if that texture was intentional. But everything else from the kebab to the gheimeh was spectacular. My only other gripe is that it took more than 15 minutes to get our check, seemingly due to a lack of staff. We were waiting to get going and were not really being noticed. Eventually we went to the front counter to pay. Nevertheless, Caspian Bistro is a staple Persian restaurant, one of if not the best in the area, and for good reason has been there for years. We tried a broad selection of the menu and nothing disappoints. A bit pricey, but given the quality and atmosphere, I feel you can’t go wrong treating yourself here with friends and family.
Goodness the kabobs! Omgoodness. My firm belief still holds. No one knows how to do meat quite like the Persians. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. However, I must say, that the highlight of the meal for me was the tart cherry tea. It blew my mind and I will be coming back for more of it and the kabobs soon!Food: 5/5
A wonderful discovery! A feast for my eyes, taste buds and wanderlust. I have been craving Persian food… Caspian absolutely met my desire for sweet, bright, tangy, savory flavors. We ended up ordering more than we could consume in one sitting; leftovers are not a problem. The hosts and staff were so very pleasant, gregarious and helpful in advising what are the house specialties. The best surprise: beautifully brewed, spiced after dinner tea with figs drenched in subtle sweet jam… all made in-house. We took our sweet time perusing through the market afterwards. No regrets on the bounty of international goodies that came home with us. Definitely must come back with family and friends for another round!
The food is absolutely delicious, and the employees are so sweet. It is always so pleasant to have a meal here. It is very homey inside, with beautiful artwork everywhere. I have eaten here a couple of times, and the gyro plate is a go-to. The pomegranate wings are very crispy and delicious. Highly recommend!
Haven’t had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant yet, but my wife and I have picked up food twice. Both times have been out of this world delicious and absolutely amazing. Can’t put into words how great the food and staff are. 10/10 would recommend and a must try if you’re in the area! Thank you for giving us an opportunity to try food from another part of the world!
The store is great. So many different things. The restaurant was very good. We didn't care to much for our food but that was on is not them. We like trying new things. The white drink was to salty for us.
Love the market and the restaurant. Portions are extremely generous, the homemade doogh is wonderful, and the place is spacious and clean. Staff are very helpful if you're not familiar with Persian cuisine.Food: 4/5
We absolutely love this place. They have a small bistro style grocery store with authentic Iranian foods and items. They also have a full restaurant with some of the most flavorful food you can find. Hassan and his brothers are always a pleasure to chat with! Anytime we're in the area we make sure to stop here to either purchase something from their grocery store or eat at the restaurant.
