If I could give them zero stars with a negative...i would. Took my twins and 5 of their friends to play...paid $198.00 and got the worst treatment. Each time i took the kids to do laser tag we were told they cant play because a party group is playing. We arrived before all the party groups. We would go play games and come back and be told the same thing. When we finally got a Game there was no one to show the kids how to get in the gear nor how to play. We asked for help and one staff said, " oh just let them run around and pretend shooting..huh what? $198 to pretend? We could have done that at home for free. They were young 6-10 years but wanted to play. The staff told us we would need to wait until all the parties were over... praise Jesus i cant cuss. Tried to get a refund but told...no refund...ask for credit to play another day...told none. Why the h... did you take my money if you knew the kids would not be allowed to play.... Never again. All my neighbors and parents at the bus stop will be told. My kids will also tell all their friends...NO MORE CASTLE LASER. We will go down the road to shadow laser... Bunch of unprofessional set up and Rubbish
I have older 19, 18, 11 and 7 year old that love the place. Clean and staff are very helpful. Got the groupon deal and it's a great way to save. They have a rope line type of thing. But is extra. Arcade is nice and prizes of the games are good. The laser tag game was awesome according to the kids. Will be back for more. Great for parties too.
I went there this past Saturday. I was really surprised that they did not break up into teams but let all of the players play without teams. This was really lazy on the staff part and less work. It wasn't a major issue when there were 16 players or less because people naturally formed their own teams- it is really stupid not to. But when there are more than that it turns into total chaos. We had 30 people in there which I think is the max and there were so many people running around all on their "own" team- that it was just stupid. The kids were really unhappy but at least I had a group of 5 and we stuck together close and found a spot to secure. People that didn't do that were clearly upset. I saw a lot of kids just walking around aimlessly and had given up because they kept getting out because they had no "team". Please take control of the staff and tell them to make teams. Don't be lazy.
New addition to our rainy day list! The staff at Castle Laser Tag were great on our first visit making an awesome time for my seven year old and for me too! Between the ropes course and the laser tag we filled several hours with high energy play time hoping to wear the kids energy out before mine. I played and broke a sweat too. We arrived just the two of us and there are plenty of Birthday Parties providing teams of kids to play with. Highly recommend, we'll be back!
It’s definitely a NO for me! We paid $40 for four people 1 laser tag game, and four $5 play cards. The machines are very expensive I expect more for a “family bundle”. First and last time! Also the front desk staff weren’t helpful at all. After the game started the front desk staff member went outside and sat in his car smh.
Great Fun Getaway or For Birthday Parties... Had my son's 10th it was a blast
Great time for everyone. Loved this place could use more arcade games but it is still pretty new give them time. My wife loved the obstacle course and the boys had a blast in laser tag great place for the birthday parties.
We celebrated my grandson 11th Birthday yesterday April 23, 2021. The kids had a wonderful time with laser tag and the arcade games. The staff was nice and friendly. The facility was nice and clean. There was hand sanitizer available for use. Thanks Castle Laser Tag and staff. Kim was amazing. Thanks Verdell
I've read some negative reviews about Castle laser tag at Gaithersburg, and didn't feel ease to book a birthday party there. But my kids were bored of other party places nearby. Some places are too kiddie; some are too crowded; party assistants in some places are doing nothing! My kids like the idea of rope courses and laser tag combination arcade game is a plus! and they want to try this new place. I am glad I made the right decision. It turned out to be a wonderful party! They must have improved the management or have done some changes. Staffs we met were very polite and helpful. When our party have finished all activities, the food we ordered with the package were still not ready. The party assistant offered us another round of laser tag because it wasn't a lot of other players at that time, so our kids wouldn't get bored while waiting for their food. They didn't ask for any extra charge for the extra round. I can feel their staffs were trying their best to make guests happy. My kids have asked me for another birthday party at castle laser tag again next year! Even my kids' friends who attended our party want a birthday party at here for themselves too! We are highly satisfied with castle laser tag. Hope they will keep the high quality in the future!
This place is nice for a nice fun family day. The people who work here are young nice kids who where willing to help. The guy working in the lazer tag area was very nice and good with the kids. The only downfall was that a few of the arcade games were out of order but I still give them 5 stars because regardless we still had a good time.
