Went on a tour of The Cathedral of St. John The Divine with New York Adventure Club. The tour guide provided excellent history of The Cathedral and we had a full walking tour which included a stairwell walk up to the top of the Cathedral. The archarchitecture was fantastic. I highly recommend going on this tour.
Charged for admission when half the church is shut down… I loved what I was able to see but there was so much more that we were unable to get to because of construction in the middle of the building/restricted area.
Beautiful cathedral and a great place for field trips for students/children. The tour guides are knowledgeable and engaging and there’s so much fascinating history in this giant building! Be sure to check out the grounds as well for interesting sculptures

Absolutely stunning, the largest cathedral in the world. $5 to enter to help with the preservation efforts.
I passed this Cathedral with family members on an open top bus from Lower Manhattan in March 2020. The architecture is very nice. A very enjoyable trip. Rolleiflex Automat photo.
Great architecture! This cathedral is huge, rocket high ceiling, very well maintained. We just visited and prayed. Mass schedule are posted once you enter.
