At Catherine Rooney's Irish Pub & Restaurant, we want you to feel as though you are part of our family. That's the Irish way. Everyone who enters our doors will be treated as family.

We named the restaurant after our mothers, Catherine McCoy and Gerry Rooney-Hudecheck, two wonderful Irish women who never had a bad word to say and went out of their way to make visitors to their homes feel special and welcome.

We will carry on the spirit of these two women at Catherine Rooney's. Visit our Wilmington, Delaware or Newark, Delaware locations. It was the perfect night, to sit outside and enjoy a few cocktails and delicious food. Our server, who's name I cannot remember was awesome and they have the best Crab Bisque!!!
A fun bar in Trolley Square! Great drinks and the staff are very friendly. Cute little patio and a few pool tables in the back. Fun atmosphere!
I went here recently because I had a craving for English Ale and it didn’t disappoint. Everything hit the spot. My friend and I shared some nachos and watched the Flyers game. This is also a great spot to warcg some English Premier League games on the weekend.
Food good however they mess up my doordash order on a regular basis. The last 4 times I’ve ordered they’ve forgotten to include something. Either and entire meal or the extra sauces I paid for. They’d be my go to all the time if they could fix this problem.
We had lunch here after hiking with our dog at Alapocas Run. They have an outdoor section that is dog friendly. Staff were friendly and nice to Alex and the food was excellent. The cheesesteak egg rolls were fantastic as an appetizer and the Sheppard's pie was very good too. We would definitely eat here again if in the area.
