Cauldron Ice Cream

We always come here after dinner in the area. Their lavender flavor is lavender-y, but not too overwhelmingly lavender-y. The rose flavor is very rose-y, which I like. But my favorite flavor is the Sun, Moon and Star. It’s a combination of 3 kinds of tea. I really like the tea aroma in it. If you ask them, they’ll make your ice cream flower shape, which is default for their lavender flavor.

This is one of our favorite ice cream shops in the city. They have some of the best and most unique ice cream. We stop here at least once a week in hot summer months. Such a treat.

This place is wonderful. It is a new take on ice cream. Seeing them make your ice cream is a show all onto itself, but besides that the food is absolutely delicious. It is without a doubt my favorite ice creme place. It is leagues better than any other. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I actually was not expecting to eat here. My girlfriend found out about this place from Instagram and wanted to take me, but I was just expecting another overly hyped ice cream shop. Man I was so wrong. I've actually had a cauldron cone before. It wasn't from this chain, but a place in Las Vegas. I thought it so-so. Of course since it is her first time, I the most iconic thing they served there...the rose shaped ice cream on a cauldron cone. There was a strange flavor on the menu and it was called sun, stars, and moon. Normally when I hear these types of flavors, I avoid them because they are overly sweet, but I thought "what the heck, why not?" Trust me, it was so good. We got it on a churro cauldron cone and fell in love. This ice cream flavor is a must because it is apparently green tea, jasmine, and something else, but it was so smooth. It was a blue color and had a subtle flavor that made it really addictive. The price is really high so I would make the cauldron cone a one time thing, but the ice cream alone is just too good that I have to come again. 10/10 would come again for Sun, Stars, and Moon!

This place is very popular for people who want to post a picture of the carved rose ice cream on Instagram. My friend and I came a bit before closing and there was a line out the door for the ice cream. It wasn't a long wait since people usually ordered, take a picture, eat it and go. They had a lot of flavours and being an indecisive person I had some time to decide what flavour to pick. I went with the sun, moon and stars because it's a tea flavour. The ice cream is delicious, but I could've done without the puffed cone since it was kinda just an aesthetic for me.
