Unfortunately our experience was not what we expected and that would be with the woman that helped us. She was short and made us feel like we were bothering her. She went through our things very quickly and just seemed like she didn’t want to deal with us. We drove over an hour to this specific place and now we feel like it was a waste of time.

Don't know where to begin. Went to others first to purchase my engagement ring. So glad I was referred to go see mike prior to my purchase. The allure of the more conventional jewelry store can be hard to avoid. If you have not given mike and causeway an opportunity for your business to purchase you are missing out. Mike was extremely helpful, professional, extremely knowledgeable and polite prompt with his timeline and turnaround. The value that he brings to you as a potential buyer is worth giving him a chance to earn your business. Causeway is a worth a visit if you not tried before. I was born and raised in Metairie and never thought of stopping here for help with engagement ring. I'm quite late at posting this. My name is RG Washington. My trip home to New Orleans westbank had come to an end and I was leaving the city. For some reason, my return ticket was different and I had to pay for my baggage. Which my funds were tied up in multiple days hotel incidentals. I was in a situation where I couldn't access any funds. y only alternative was to sell my watch. Now, with the time of day, Causeway Coin was closing at, I believe, 3PM. I hadn't arrived until 430. Now, I was given an unknown truth about my watch purchase, though authentic. That being said, I was offered well above my expected price, which still exceeded fair market value, with the unknown truth. They were beyond fair, understanding, and generous. For staying open beyond the time of operation just for me, and the fact that I had a situation, says that, businesses still exist with hearts. Hearts that care and have compassion for others and situations in life. If it weren't for Causeway Coin, I wouldn't have made it back to my residence in NYC. I can't see anyone having nothing but positivity to report on this establishment.
I have sold to other shops in the past but this was by far the best experience. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous and honest. The owner, Mike Perkins, gave my family a very special consideration. After we sold some jewelry we found out that our daughter wanted one of her grandmother's rings. She went to the shop the next day and Mike sold it to her for what he gave us for it. That made my daughter extremely happy.
