I truly feel taken advantage of. I bought a pair of shoes and at the time I was discussing with the sales associate about if they didn’t work I would return them shortly there after. There was never a mention of only receiving store credit. This needs to be stated to each customer when purchasing a pair of shoes or any item for that matter. Very bad business practices. This is the first and last purchase I make here.
Purchased a pair of dress heels pikolinos. Wore them for a few occasions, maybe 5 or 6 in the 9 months since I had purchased them. They were well taken care of and had no wear or scuffs. The insole on one shoe came apart. I travel frequently, so stopped by the store in the airport to see what they could do. Store employees were friendly but said they couldn't do anything there but to email them pictures and someone would get back to me. I emailed, attached pictures, after a couple of weeks with no reply, I stopped by again, bringing the shoes with me. They took pictures and told me someone would be in touch. I had to stop by two more times. The ladies in the store were nice and apologetic but could not help. When someone finally called me they basically told me they could not warranty them since it was more than 45 days since the purchase. OK, I get it... but if the staff had that information it could have saved me a whole bunch of time and frustration. Basicallythe manager suggested I just have them repaired, which I will do. But, I shouldn't need to have 120.00+ shoes repaired after so few wearings. I would give the store staff 4, quality 1, and management a 0.
Considering the high end products the customer service is severely lacking. No returns only exchanges. You have to purchase online to return an item and then the return time frame is so stringent you would be hard pressed to try and return in time to meet requirements for a refund. Shipping is also not free. As a return customer and purchaser of 3 pair of Pikolino boots I showed them a problem I had with the pair I was wearing and told them I had called Pikolinos customer service and they advised me to go to where I had purchased them to have them sent back so they could see what went wrong. Before I could say I was not going to do so because I don't want to be without my boots, they told me they would not do that. Their boots average $250. And they treat you as if you are buying at Kmart.
Love the shoes but elder lady with short blonde hair was brutally obvious that she didn't believe I could afford to shop there and followed me like i was a shoplifter. At every item i stopped to look at she acted like i was wasting her time. I was dressed in casual comfortable clothes and wasn't polished up so she was quite surprised when i was able to buy the very comfortable shoes and earrings I love but felt dirty after having been treated like a criminal. I'd like to return without being subject to her judgemental better than everyone attitude
An airport gift shop which has some products not found in other similar stores.
I've been shopping here for years while at the airport. Recently I bought some boots after confirmation that I could RETURN them if it was within 10 days. The definition of RETURN is to bring back and receive money back, but their definition is to receive store credit or another item. Their website offers returns refunds but they do not. It was very difficult getting my money back despite the fact that I was told I could return them, and that there was a defect in the stitching. They've lost my business. Buyer beware.
They run an unethical scheme here. They have the PDX store and sell you products not caring if they fit. Second they lead you down a path to believe you can return the product for full cash back. The website states if an item is bought and returned in 10 days money will be returned. Yet inside the store they say they won’t refund cash but only a gift card. The reason for this is because the companies use two different banks. I’m filling an ethics report on then, reporting to BBB and taking legal action. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!
Old lady with short blonde hair was so patronizing at the location outside of security. I can’t believe this woman’s lack of true customer service exists; it sort of stains the reputation of Portland having the kindest people I’ve met thus far. What a shame... I will say, the younger ladies over at the C6 location are amazing. They’re the reason why I want to return... Please, to the rude woman who I spoke to today, stop acting like you’re better than people due to whatever judgments you make of them and take some customer service cue’s from the lovely people at C6. I honestly will never go back to this store because of how unpleasant and unwelcoming you were.
I needed a pair of comfortable shoes suitable for walking and business casual use. Got the perfect pair right before a flight. Very helpful staff, super convenient, and great selection.
Great stuff and great staff! I get something from this store every time I fly. I got a cool sweater I can wear like 5 ways, the boots in the fall are SUPER CUTE. Just check it out - I love it!
