Cedar Grove Motel

Do not stay here!!! This place and the owners are a joke!!! We had room # 18 and it was a King size bed room and we woke up to find out we just slept in a bed and have our stuff in a bedroom with bedbugs!! So I quickly got my family and I out of there and notified the owner and you can tell by his voice he already knew and there wasn’t much concern except kicking us out as quickly as possible to get someone else in that room. We were prepaid for 7 day stay no refund so help ect. I’m not finished I’m going to the proper authorities and making sure something gets done and might just have a law suit started. But go to super 8 or rode way inn!! They are much nicer, way cleaner, and bedbug free

And ended up leaving 2 days early because of bed bugs and was refused any refund of any kind whatsoever and I had paid cash in absolutely whoever is managing it would not even work with us even on one day a little 2 days that we had to leave early and plus all we're closer ruins over bed sheets because we brought her own bed clothes we had to have them all burnt so thanks a lot Cedar Grove.

I was put here by community action being that I was homeless any place is better than the street but this place is disgusting there are bedbugs, the mattess blows dust out if you hit it, the sink dosent work and the whole place is just gross nothing appears to have been cleaned.Rooms: 1/5

I posted two reviews on this page about everything that was happening and they took my reviews down to protect themselves from the disrespectful things they were doing to myself and family for two months. Don't stay here your family is not safe living here.Rooms: 1/5

I was looking for an inexpensive, but clean room for one night. The room smelled clean. I think the carpet was scrubbed the day I checked in, which was nice. The owner/manager, I'm not sure which, was very friendly and accommodating. I blew a breaker in my room, which he fixed immediately. He even allowed me to check out later than their normal time, which he definitely did not have to do, and I greatly appreciated that. Sheetz is right across the street, which was nice. The motel is situated nicely, and felt safe and private, which made me feel better about traveling alone. I would definitely stay here again.

Worth the price. First room smelled like chemicals, the second room was fine but we had a wifi problem19, but the third rooms bed was ridiculously uncomfortable and there was a water flowing noise most of the night. There was a hot tub in the third room which was exciting at first, but it didn't look clean enough to trust. The owner was very accommodating despite the price so overall it was worth it.

The owners were very nice. But the shower was kinda broke. The shower spout barely had pressure. It was well kept. Room was cleaned and the a.c worked very well. Couple stains on the sheets but just used our own beddings. My daughter got bit by something and it swollened up really severe. Not sure if it was just a big spider or not but it worried me. But other then that it's in the budegting when you need a quick inexpensive room for the night.

Arrived late at night. Greeted with warm welcome from sleepy eyes, that promptly got me into a room st a low cost. The room heated up quickly, .microwave, fridge, TV included.leave time is 11:00am

My significant other and I have stayed here at cider grove a few times for 2 or 3 nights at a time and the staff is very friendly, rooms are clean with everything you will need to be comfortable! This is our go to place everytime we go to Altoona p.a! The guy at the front desk is pleasant!!! They will even do your laundry if you need cloths washed for next day. Great place and I’ll be returning again..

Reasonable priced. You get what you pay for. It's a nice cozy room with shower.Perfect for our needs. If you want all the perks of the Hilton than you should check into a Hilton. We would like to thank them for helping us have a great weekend without being over priced for a place to stay
