Celtic Ray Public House

What a GREAT place to go get a drink and food. The staff here are vary good at what they do and how they do it. Everyone has been so nice and fun to talk with. Food and Drinks are ALWAYS 5 Stars. I come here all the time with my wife and always enjoy our time here! Its a great place to go if you are young or young at heart. Update 5/13/18 it’s still a great place!

Very clean. Ladies room quite nicely decorated. Prices reasonable. Some foods available in portions sizes. Bar maid, Laura, is pleasant and gives quick service. Bar tender helpful to take photo of us 9 ladies. TY. Kitchen staff displays food in a nice presentation. 9 of us were there today, April 9, 2018. 8 of them their first exposure to an Irish Pub and really enjoyed Celtic Ray. TY staff. Babs

Irish pubs are my thing. Whenever I travel, I get on the internet and seek out the local Irish Pub. The Celtic Ray is the standard by which I judge all other Irish Pubs. Yes, the beers are $5.00. But, they are imported pints and served in the proper glassware for the selected beer. (Beer connoisseurs know what I mean). The food is authentic and I highly recommend the Breton Chicken and Fish and Chips. There is live entertainment 7 days a week. The older crowd seems to attend early, around 6pm with a younger crow filtering in around 9pm. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable enough to help the chronic domestic beer drinker make a selection to their liking.

This is the most fun place in PG. The best fish and chips I've ever had along with all kinds of interesting Irish food and drink. And, get this, the owner is actually Irish!!! They have live music plus tables out in front that swing back and forth. I can't think of anything else to ask for.

Great food! Everyone is always very friendly. We've tried just about everything on the menu as well as some limited time menu introductions and all have been fabulous. Love the decor, always so much to look at, and they have live music regularly. If you haven't been to the Ray, stop in and check it out. I myself am a fan of the various pasties and the soda bread is amazing!
