Ignore the NIMBY reviews complaining about normal airport operations. These people moved less then 2 miles from the end of the runway and now want pilots to fly unsafely and bend over backwards to accommodate to there lack of research when buying a home. It’s sad these people are allowed to post misinformation and conspiracy theories. The airport is WONDERFUL! Conveniently located and highly professional. From operations and management to ATC, the airport runs very smoothly and efficiently.
This airport has the absolute worst record I have ever seen in doing low-altitude flyby student training above neighborhoods that are in its immediate vicinity. This is the stuff of amateurs. This airport has absolutely zero respect for the nearby neighborhoods and is on borderline lawsuit territory. They have students flying at 5:00am and flying at 11:30pm. A lawsuit will be coming shortly.
An awesome and busy GA airport. TAC Air and Signature on the ramp. Restaurant onsite and a pilot shop. Awesome ATC in the tower. I love flight training here. For those complaining about noise... the airport has been around since the 60s; many apartment complexes are new. If you want to make a complaint go to their website and there is a form to fill out. Using Google maps isn't really the place to complain... It's an airport. A BUSY airport, of course there is noise. Accessibility: steps on the side doors of the buildings but accessible by the front doors. Parking: many lots in front of each building and accessible spots available! Restrooms: within the buildings Animals: yep and leashed dogs Kid Friendly: yes, however, always keep on eye on children while on the tarmac/ramp
I want to report terrible noise which airplanes makes in the early morning 06.30, late night 23.55, and the whole day. I don’t understand why they fly above residential area, it’s enough territory on the east side of airport, even due winds safe flying. It’s 2, 3, 4 planes in the sky in one time, they fly extremely low, so noise is being destroying. Updating 05/10/2020 I’m complaining about noise. It’s started around 4am. In every 3 minute I have airplane flying above my residence. It’s extremely noisy. I’m not satisfied with Rachel Keller respond saying “your residence directly under the path for “touch-and-go” training maneuvers” and “your residence will continue to see numerous overflights and these may take place at any time of the day or night”. So this is what you say to people who send noise complains? Why you even say we can report noise if you can’t do anything? It’s terrible to wake up from such noise at 4am. Why it’s so hard to understand? Now it’s 5.10am. It’s Sunday. One day of weekend after 5 weeks of non stop working due pandemic time. People are scary and broken now. And you make them to wake up in cold sweat thinking if it’s not military training or something bad happened at night. You’re saying you don’t want people to be rude to you as you’ll report it. I’m not. I’m asking to work with this complains, not just send a formal email, saying it’s my residence problem. Thank you
Been flying out of here for a while and it's one of the busier GA airports, but there are good services
Cool place to stage for a flight through the Rockies. You can rent planes and get instruction in a one of a kind 325hp Bonanza, at Das Aviation, Talk to Sankar tell him Javelina sent you and have the ride of your life through the beautiful Rockies in a fast Bonanza! For under $250 bucks an hour. And you get to handle the controls!
Had a wonderful lunch at The Perfect Landing Restaurant. The food was excellent! I had the best BLT Wedge Salad ever! Everyone else got the French dip. The service was spot on. The atmosphere was perfect! They have live piano music and you can watch planes takeoff and land. It's the perfect landing!
Built in 1968 before much development existed in the area along with high traffic, outdated, noisy, polluting low flying cessna planes and jets, numerous complaints and zero enforcement, it's time for this airport to close.
I fly in and out of Centennial, and sometimes just drive in and watch all the action. Great place, and great restaurant upstairs.
I was there for my grandsons birthday with my family, not happy he is a year older cause it means I am a year older. The breakfast was wonderful, great service and so much fun to watch the planes take off and land. I highly recommend it. Thank you
