In 1947, The Center for Hearing and Speech was founded by four parents on a bold dream that deaf children could learn to listen and speak, enabling them to communicate with their families and the community. Today, the nationally renowned Center for Hearing and Speech serves as the most comprehensive resource for pediatric hearing loss in Texas and the only facility in the region to offer health and spoken language education for hearing-impaired children under one roof.
