We have been going here since 1960. Many dogs well taken care of. Every Vet we have seen has been great!! Caring and friendly staff and appointments easy to make with just a call.

Dr. Yanik is the smartest and most caring veterinarian I have ever met. Out of all of the veterinarians that have cared for my pets, she has been the most thorough, and she has offered an amazing standard of care that I’ve not found anywhere else. She is very intelligent, detail oriented, and willing to go above and beyond for her patients and clients. She always answers all of my questions with kindness and patience as I always have so many. I appreciate the time and energy she pours into being very up to date on her medical knowledge and appreciate how she explains studies and medical decisions to me so that I feel like part of the team caring for my pets. With her very thorough examinations to her carefully recommended diagnostics, she has caught important medical diagnoses early for my pets, which allowed adequate treatment and likely added years to their lives. From arthritis to pneumonia to dry eye to cancer to diabetes, she has walked with me through some of the toughest times and helped me to make some very tough decisions when necessary. She always advocates for what is best for her patients while listening to owner expectations and answering any questions. She will take into account what is and isn’t possible for owners as well if you tell her what your personal constraints are with finances or time limits or ability to medicate pets. I’ve never once shared a concern with her that wasn’t met with understanding and compassion. I would strongly recommend Dr. Yanik to any pet owner that is looking for an amazing quality of care for their animals, who cares about receiving the best wellness and preventative care medicine to keep their pets healthy and diagnose problems early, or any pet owner who just wants to feel like they can trust their veterinarian to make the best possible decisions for their pets and explain those decisions for you to understand. She has never led us astray and we will continue to see her for years and years to come.

We have been using Central Animal Hospital for over fourty years. The Doctors and Vet Aids have cared for all of our cats and dogs at one time or another. Other members of the family also used Central for their pets. I would recommend Central to anyone needing a Vet. The only issue I have is sometimes it is a little hard to get out of the parking lot, but it is worth the effort. These are my babies Dante, Freya, and Chloe, I could never be without a kitty. And, Central Animal Hospital has always cared for them from the time we adopted them.

Dr Hedden is the best vet we’ve ever seen! So caring, so skilled and intelligent, and great bedside manner. Her and her staff helped our lab heal from a spinal injury. We also worked with Daniel for rehab, and he was so kind and patient with our pup. The front desk staff is so helpful, accommodating and awesome! We can’t recommend Dr Hedden and her team enough!! Truly the best!

Dr Eliza Yanik is the best! My family and I have been going to this doctor for YEARS! We will follow her where ever she goes because she practices FANTASTIC medicine. She came to the rescue so many times for my pets after being MISDIGNOSED by other doctors multiple times for not one but 3 of my pets. For one of my pets, I was CONVINCED by a prior doctor at a different hospital, that my pet was in "Good Condition", but as a pet mom I couldn't understand why my pet didn't seem himself. Despite being RESISTANT, because the other doctor told me he was HEALTHY, Dr. Yanik took the time to fully explain what I was seeing and how to move forward with treatment. Though I didn't appeaciate the contradicting info at the time, because I thought I was being taken for a ride AGAIN, with no diagnosis, she stayed persistent! AND let me tell you, I am so greatful that Dr. Yanik was persistant! THIS ANGEL saved my pet's life and bought me precious time with him, that I would have LOST, if I had let my thoughts get to me and REFUSED treatment. I am unbelievably greatful that I followed her recommendations to find 2 treatable diseases. I am sorry I doubted you in the beginning due to the MISINFORMATION/MISDIAGNOSIS from the other doctor. I will never forget the EMPATHY and COMPASSION you showed me in those dark moments of my pet's life, especially since I was not in a good finacial space at the time. It meant alot to this worried pet mom. Thank you DR YANIK! You are the best! Ps. I will never go to anyone else if I can help it

We take our cat here. They have early appointments, are on time, have friendly staff, and are caring towards pets. We were referred to them when we moved into the area a few years ago. We have liked all techs and vets we've had and have no complaints.

If you come here I would avoid Dr Eliza Yanik. Dr Yanik used fear to pressure me to pay for procedures when she couldn't properly explain to me why they were necessary. I explained I did not want to pay hundreds/thousands of dollars for a diagnoses I couldn't do much about for my aging 15 yr old cat. She kept saying she couldn't predict the future but that we should do all that we can and made me out as unreasonable for asking. She called me "resistant" to properly caring for my cat and implied I was a poor pet owner. She left the room in a huff and said "I don't understand medicine" before I could respond - completely unprofessional. I came to Dr Yanik for a recheck of an issue my cat had. In the 3 weeks that passed between visits, these were the notes from 2 different doctors: 7/8 Hedden: Normal dentition and grade 1 dental calculus and gingivitis. 7/27 Yanik: Calculus grade 4/4 esp distal. Gingivitis grade 2/4 7/8 Hedden: No visible abnormalities, BCS 4/9 Still boney along his back 7/27 Yanik: severe, generalized low MCS. BCS 2.5/9; MCS 2/4 Somehow my cat went from "good health" to "severe failing health" health/teeth in 3 weeks at the same weight. I honestly don't know if the truth is somewhere in the middle of the significantly different evaluations above, but I do know that Dr Yanik showed me no understanding/empathy when I asked for more explanation before spending hundreds more on diagnostics.

We've been bringing our beloved kitty to Central Animal Hospital for over 17 years. We had another exceptional visit with our kitty this past week. The staff were so kind and personable. No ask was too much, we didn't feel rushed and Dr. Middleton took his time listening to our concerns and treated us and our kitty like we were the only ones in the building. Central Animal Hospital care continues to be exceptional. No matter if we're visiting for a quick and efficient nail trim or something more worrisome, every visit is consistent with: tender loving care, thoughtfulness, timeliness, and terrific teamwork. Thank you Central Animal Hospital Team, we don't say it enough!
