The mission of Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) is to empower men, women, and children with diverse needs to end their homelessness by providing shelter and supportive services.
CASS is Arizona’s largest shelter and supportive services provider to individuals experiencing homelessness, and the state’s second largest provider to families experiencing homelessness.
CASS shelters are the gateway to a continuum of services and community providers that work together to empower our homeless clients to achieve their highest level of self-sufficiency in ending their homelessness and rebuilding their lives. CASS operates three shelters: the Downtown Single Adult Shelter, the Vista Colina Emergency Family Shelter and the Men’s Outreach Shelter.
In addition to shelter, CASS also provides an array of comprehensive supportive services. These include: individualized case management, Veteran services, employment services, the Vista Colina Child Development Program, street outreach and the nation’s largest volunteer dental clinic for the homeless.
