My wife attended Central Lutheran School years ago. 7 years ago, while living in Des Moines, we decided we wanted to relocate. At the time we had one child who was two years old and we knew we wanted to have another. We decided we wanted to move back to Benton County so our children could attend Central and receive a Christ-centered education. It was the best decision we could have made. The teachers and staff are loving and caring. The facilities are exceptional as they have recently added on more classrooms, a new library, computer lab, a music room, new lunchroom kitchen and a high school sized gymnasium. The extra-curricular activities are very well rounded and allow students to be very involved in sports, music and more. Most people consider other students and their parents to be part of their "Central Lutheran Family." Class sizes are very appropriate which allows students to not be over-looked. Students standardized tests scores show that CLS provides a top-notch education. When comparing to other private schools in the state of Iowa, tuition rates are very reasonable and tuition assistance is available
