I too gave this office the benefit of the doubt for over a year but today was the last straw. My husband has been a patient there since 1978 and today he was told he had to pay $50 to be seen because we missed our appointment last week. Due to prescriptions my husband is required to maintain frequent contact with Dr. Hughes. He was seen in July for a medication check and was required again to see Dr. Hughes for another medication check or they would not renew his prescription. This office is obviously more interested in money than patient well-being.

AVOID at ALL costs!
There is a PA-C working here now whose name is Aaron Lee, and he is a vindictive, self-entitled bully who is not afraid to lie to protect himself.
He used to work at Madras Medical Group until they fired him, likely because he was committing malpractice and didn't want to be sued.
He apparently now works at Central Oregon Family Medicine and I'm just making sure that people know Aaron Lee is a fraud.
He should not have his medical license, because he attempted to murder me.
He laughed at me, he called me names, he got me kicked out of my hospital, all because I disagreed with him.
He is a very sick individual who will stop at nothing to prove himself right even when he is wrong.
Ask yourself, is that the kind of man you want providing you with healthcare? What if you get cancer and he's 'certain' it isn't? He will say things like 'You know we talked about this' when really, all that happened was he blurted out what his opinions are regardless if you agree or not. So when he says 'we talked about this' just remember he is going into 'protect my own ass' mode and will not be a reliable person after that point.
He told the hospital I used to go to that I was 'threatening' him but actually what happened was I requested that I not be left alone with Aaron Lee because I was afraid of what he would do to me. He must have told the hospital that I threatened him, because I really do not know where the whole 'you threatened us' came from.
I really should sue that Aaron Lee guy, I just might.

We love all of the Dr's here!!! Margaret Haynor is my Dr! We all LOVE her! Very thorough and compassionate! She always has time to listen & seems to have such a wonderful ability to order just the right tests to get to the bottom of any issue! She saved me from a lengthy surgery because she ordered a CT that showed a tumor that wouldn't have shown up on a reg. ultrasound! Thank you just never seems to be enough!❤️❤️❤️

We were very disappointed in our dealing with Dr. Hughes. We had an appointment for over a week and had the first appointment at 7:00AM on Friday morning and drove from 30 minutes away. We arrived just a few minutes late thinking our appt was for 7:15 and he refused to see us. It was unacceptable and insensible to our need.

This office was inconsiderate, at best. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for almost a year, before leaving. They sat on my records, and refused to forward my prescription or files to my new doctor.
The entire group in the office are unfriendly and uncooperative.They obviously do not need any new client.
