Story

Chad Drachenberg grew up in Cedar Falls, Iowa and graduated from Minnesota State University in Mankato. He then moved to Colorado, eventually married his love and now dotes on his two young daughters. Outside the office, depending on the season, he rides and falls off snowboards or motorcycles.

During Chad’s years in the mortgage industry, he has learned there is no such thing as “typical” when it comes to his customers. Every client is unique and has different financial needs and questions. Chad recommends to new or first time homebuyers to try to get at least a 5% down payment on a home. He likes to make sure his clients understand how important their credit history is and to keep in touch with questions in the future.

Chad believes gathering the required documentation is the most challenging part of the home loan process for his clients. Chad tries to help by checking in with his clients and helping them move the paperwork along back to his team. He has found borrowers have the best experience when they work hard on providing everything in the beginning and in a timely manner.
