We booked a group coffee tasting session for five. It was an intimate learning experience, worth every penny. Matt was a perfect host, knowledgeable and personable. Additionally, two of us came by for a latte and cortoda a few days prior delicious.
Amazing to be able to drink a coffee grown in the valley you grew up in. The coffee was delicious and while we didn't stay to enjoy our coffee the little patio was super cute and cozy and looked like a lovely place to enjoy a cuppa.
Had a great time talking to a barista Tylor here. He was so friendly and kind to answer all of my questions about espresso machine, and also gave me a little lecture about the basics of coffee! Also coffee was delicious I hope they make youtube or podcast channel someday!
Fantastic coffee and selection. Definitely a spot to visit for a good pour over to enjoy with freshly roasted beans from the island. Missing a star due to lack of amenities at a coffee/cafe establishment such as a bathroom for patrons.
Such wonderful food!! Got the turkey pesto sandwich and the tartine with peanut butter, banana and honey. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The caramel lattes, hot and iced, were wonderful. My first time having a tea latte, got the vanilla pineapple and it was so great! Will definitely be getting that again.
Did a coffee tasting with a small group, Matt was a great host, answering questions about coffee & also providing local recommendations. Also ordered a cortado & a honu latte we were very satisfied with. Great coffee & a warm, welcoming establisment.
It's just ok. With all the covid restrictions, I'm ordering out of a hallway, drinking from a to-go cup. All of the food is grab and go. Can't wait for things to get back to normal. I'll update my review when Chad Lou's opens up the same way other coffee houses in Kailua have.
