I'm visiting my sister in Las Vegas and we went to Chaiya Meditation Monastery today. what a beautiful and peaceful place. The outside prayer garden is stunning. We went inside and there were a few monks and nuns there. A volunteer told us to have something to eat. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. We were introduced to Venerable Chaiya. I had a private audience with him as well. If I ever decided to move to Las Vegas, this is where I'd go to meditate and continue my Buddhist studies. I'm going to meditation later this week and to the food fair on Sunday.
