I've never been to a Buddhist Temple like this one.I came for meditation. This Temple is amazing for meditation. So beautiful inside and out. The atmosphere here is something I really cannot explain. Just visit and see for yourself. You Won't be disappointed. Come and ease your mind here and support your local Buddhist Temples. ขอบคุณครับ
Pleasant place to clear your mind and sit in for a free meditation session. We went on an invitation with another friend and it was quite pleasant
Thai meditation temple, must stop by if you in Vegas. If you want to learn Buddhism or to meditate. Dress code: no shorts, tank tops, cut offs, skirts below knee, dress properly and respectful.
Warm and friendly people here! A little spiritual Oasis in the desert.
The temple so quit and peaceful! Father monk taught us how to do meditation. It's helping with stress and keep mind on the right track.
I'm visiting my sister in Las Vegas and we went to Chaiya Meditation Monastery today. what a beautiful and peaceful place. The outside prayer garden is stunning. We went inside and there were a few monks and nuns there. A volunteer told us to have something to eat. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. We were introduced to Venerable Chaiya. I had a private audience with him as well. If I ever decided to move to Las Vegas, this is where I'd go to meditate and continue my Buddhist studies. I'm going to meditation later this week and to the food fair on Sunday.
Great place to do silent meditation. Cute garden. Good temple. Nothing guided. Just your silence. No outside thoughts from anyone else on how your meditation should go. Pure inner reflection. Love it. But for real it's a beautiful facility. Get there early and speak with the monk to ask questions. Or stay after meditation and ask questions
Came here to meditate and got a pleasant surprise. I spoke with the Master just before the session started. I didn't have a clue who he was until my friend later told me. The Master really helped me overcome some limiting beliefs when it came to meditation. I'd been thinking there had to be a magical formula and that I had been doing things wrong. When a learned man like the master says to focus on your breathing the entire session, dismiss any thoughts, and focus on the discomfort and pain until it either goes away or you should at least shift your body slowly, things you already know to some level, it's good to know that you've been on the right track all this time.
Great place for meditation in Vegas
A monk decided that he couldn't speak English after I heard him carrying on a conversation with a visitor. Maybe he didn't speak Thai, but his English was clear from what I overheard. I think some people get used to this sort of thing. I probably will not. Compassion is real. You have it or you don't. It is easy to get into the temple business. Harder to be holy.
