Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse

Love this place. It is a meat lover paradise. The endless parade of different meat ranging from beef, lamb, pork, chicken and shrimp. Their salad bar include lobster bisque and seared ahi tuna along with various vegetables and cheese. The buffet is about 59/pp, but the ambiance, service and the quality of the food is worth the price.

The top Brazilian steakhouse in Houston, in my opinion! All of the staff members here deserve praise. Definitely one of my favorites is the cheese bread. Another dish that was served was fried cheese with honey, which was such a pleasant surprise. In conclusion, I heartily endorse if you enjoy Brazilian steakhouses. You won't be let down.

Everything was delicious. We love the Menu selections. The service is excellent, personal and professional. We have never had a bad experience here!

The servers were kind, always kept your drink topped off, the place was clean, table clothes were pristine white they even looked liked they were ironed. They had little racks that sat beside your table to hang your jacket and purse on. I've never been to a restaurant that had such excellent everything! We had the buffet and it was excellent. The asparagus was so tender but wasn't shriveled up. I can remember everything I ate but there was only one thing I didn't like and that was the New York Strip. They didn't cook it badly, I just couldn't get over the smell of whatever they used to cook it with. It was a smoke flavor but I'm not sure what would it was cooked with. I'm allergic to several trees, so perhaps it was one of those. Everything else was cooked to perfection. The tuna was the bright red tuna like you see on TV that the fisherman get the big bucks for. It was so good! The seasonings were amazing. Nothing bitter at all. Unique flavors, my pallet was singing praises to the Gods of herbs... Lol. Seriously though, I would consider it a five star restaurant. Everything there was excellent! I would never be able to pay for a meal like that myself, by my future daughter-in-law took me and I think I tickled her a little bit with my reactions to do many things. This was my first time to ever eat Lamb. It was so tender, I can't believe this Texas gal is saying this, but I thought it was better than beef. It almost melted in your mouth and every bite was perfectly cooked. This place is a must try, at least once.

This place was carnivore paradise that never ended. Just when you thought you had your fill, the waiters would pop out of no where with a servings of more fresh meat! The salad bar hold its own. Variety galore & Vegetarian approved!

What a great dining experience! The staff were absolutely wonderful , kind and generous to every one of my family members . The food was amazing , every option cooked to perfection ! We will be back , for sure Kid-friendliness: My oldest son 6 said , screw OliveGarden , this place is the best !! he loved it obviously ..... the price for the kids was affordable also

This place was honestly super amazing, I started the night with a reservation at 6:30 got there keep in mind it’s only valet waited about 10min to be seated and once I sat down the service was outstanding. The waiter told us everything we needed to know because we have never been there and as soon as I turned the card over to green the waiters started coming ASAP back to back with so much food. The salad bar is amazing also especially the chicken salad. I only got a picture of the dessert because the food was so good I forgot.

Fat fat full !! You can really hurt yourself in this place ! But the meats are so hot and fresh and delicious! The waiters and servers are so friendly and kind . Definitely a nice place to enjoy lunch or dinner. Just wear loose pants

First time to try and this is by far the best. Salar bar is to die for and the meat is overwhelming. It is good for date nights and even just casual dining. Bring an empty stomach to enjoy it. There's valet service too. Thumbs up!

In my opinion if you had to visit one restaurant in Houston it would have to be Chama Gaúcha. This place has a wide variety for all meat lovers. In addition to that they have a wide selection of Salads and Cheeses for you to choose from. * Location : Good * Food : Good * Service : Good * Price: Fair * Hygiene : Fair Upside: * One of the great things about this place is that you can choose the way you want your meat cooked rare to well done and they will have it for you. * If you do not eat beef or lamb the restaurant also offers chicken and shrimps. Downside: * The salad bar is not covered which can be an issue when the restaurant is full. * There is a slight chance that you may get some grease on your clothe from the meat servers.
