Chicken is fried and very tasty. White meat is juicy. Pieces are large. I didn't care much for the coleslaw flavor. The green beans were good. For $11 including tax I had 2 large wings, 2 large breasts and a side. I have 2 meals.
Got tired and ordered a shrimp salad with bacon. The shrimp was grilled and looks great. I needed to stop running miles as it was hot outside. I Needed something light. The shrimp was seasoned well. Not overly New Orleans, but moderstely seasoned. I liked it

Not at all impressrd. Chicken was overcooked and dry. Had red beans and potstpes fpr our sides. Beans tasted old and werr way to thick. Potatoes were ok
Excellent chicken, the price was right, and the pieces were large, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Tom Benson had Chaps chicken in his suite at the Superdome. A true Lakeview gem.
For the love of all that is good in the world.... PLEASE... Pretty PLEASE open a Chaps in the JACKSON, Ms. area. I have to eat Chaps chicken on every trip to NOLA and I only get down there twice a year.
First experience there it was freshly fried and delicious I recommend it
