I can't give this place enough praise. We stopped here on a whim during a road trip from WI to OH, and I'm dead serious when I say that I would drive four hours just to eat here again. We even stopped by again on our drive back home for lunch. The food was sublime both times! This restaurant is filled to the brim with good food and good vibes. Be sure to support a local family restaurant and stop by Chapati! Thanks again, Q!
Food is good. Especially the naan. For some reason there aren’t too many customers. I encourage people live around to definitely give it a try! The most interesting part is that there is a table tennis table in the restaurant. I have decided to go back and play with my friends while having some great food!
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, smells amazing just walking in the door, the food is absolutely perfect, ordered the Beef Nihari and the Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan Bread and everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend trying the Beef Nihari! And just be aware that the butter chicken is not the traditional Indian style butter chicken it is Pakistani Style and is chock full of flavor spice and fresh chicken! As for dessert I HIGHLY recommend getting Falooda! It originates from the Persian Empire. The dessert blends Halal jello, noodles, milkshake, imported syrup, pistachios, almonds, and ice-cream and is absolutely astonishing! Please come check these guys out they are amazing!
Great, family friendly restaurant with vegan options! The chana masala w/ garlic nan bread is great and the regular size is plenty to share. Customer service is always on point
Food was very flavorful and portions were huge. Perfect for large gatherings and families. I highly recommend you give the food a try. The chicken tikka was piping hot and very delicious!
Chicken and mutton karahi was very good but very less quantity even for family style one, Falooda was good. Ambience was great.. Pani puri and dani chat wasn’t good. A good stop when going towards Ohio from Chicago. Like the ambience and service
Wanted to give 5 star but service was slow, food preparation was slow, it took them 30+ mins to serve our order. The food tastes okay. The chicken wrap could be better. Overall environment is good, spacious and there were some indoor activities like table tennis and carom. Kids friendly.
I heard a LOT of reviews of Chapati and couldn’t wait to try it. Step in and the ambience takes you back to Indian roots - the seats set up with Carrom board which is a very popular game in India. Shelves decorated with popular spices and a whole lot of diversity defining decor. I much appreciate the variety. Food tasted very authentic, fresh and spice level was very decent. The Chicken boti and side chutney dip was a stellar combo. The garlic kulcha tortilla wasn’t too garlicky and absolutely soft and fresh. Loved the Asian style of serving dishes which is very common in India and Pakistan. The retro Indian music added to the touch! Not too many people and good spacious seating. 5* for the food and ambience!
Soooooo delicious! I asked the person working at the counter what they recommended and they suggested the Karhai see photo. It had amazing flavor and the goat meat was tender. My friend got the Beef Behari which I also tried a bite of and it was delicious. The chutneys were fantastic as well! Overall, I really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant: spacious seating, art on the walls, music. Looking at the other reviews, I just want to say - this isn't a fast food restaurant so don't expect fast food prices or immediate food. These are quality slow cooked dishes and the menu states which are made to order. Both my friend and I got two meals out of each dish, so for me it was well worth the cost and the wait was standard. I will definitely be coming back!
We ordered goat Karahi and chapati and rice. Kashmiri chai and desi chai. The goat was good, not dry or gamey. Chai were good. I particular like the Kashmiri one but husband prefers desi. Overall would love to come back if we’re in town again. Favorite part is the ambiance and the food is more home style and less restaurant type. Will have to try the nihari next time. Would recommend Kid-friendliness: Carrom to play. Clean. Parking: There’s parking.
