Really enjoyed my first time playing Charles T Myers. Pro shop attendant was super nice. I called last minute for a tee time and he fit me in and was very friendly. Greens in really good shape and roll true. Love the wide fairways. Holes have a lot of really nice character to them. Course is well maintained. Was a fun round and would definitely recommend playing. Tom S
One of the best municipal courses I have ever played. Wide open, greens in decent shape, fairways looking great. Great price. Great driving range/practice facilities.
This is a beautifully laid out, well maintained course. Outstanding staff with exceptional customer service. Great selection at the pro shop and top tier instructors for players of all ages and skill level. My experience going there has always been superb and I highly recommend this course. I will be returning regularly.
Nice course for the price! I played here last weekend with a buddy and we had a great time. The greens were pretty fast, but unfortunately not everyone fixes their pitch marks. The layout of the course was nice, the front nine more of a link style course and more wooded on the back nine, the course had plenty of challenges with a few water hazards and well placed bunkers. The pro shop had good prices for beer and snacks.
Played on 3/8 the greens where ok, the pro shop was staffed with people who did not really seem to want to be there. I lost my range finder called twice the person i spoke to put zero effort in to helping me, did not take my tel number or name down in case it is found....$400 bushnell gone and seems like the guy did not care what so ever, definitely will not go back to this place
It pains me to write this review because I do love the course. Wide open, fun holes, challenging but fair greens. However, the last several times I have played here it has take 3+ hours for 9 holes and 6+ hours for 18. The tee times are completely arbitrary as there is hardly ever a starter and people go out whenever they want. There is never a ranger to keep a normal pace of play, making the course constantly backed up. Last time I was out I had to walk off after 5 holes as it had taken over 2.5 hours. At one time there were 8 groups backed up on holes 4-5. If you have all day to play this is a great course, but if you want to get a quick 9 in you should definitely go somewhere else.
Recent heavy rain meant Cart Path Only - usually a formula for slow play. We were as slow as everyone else, so we weren't inconvenienced. Greens are in great shape despite the wet conditions. Fairways are still dormant but did not affect the playability. Staff friendly and efficient. This course is very playable for all levels. Wish they had electric carts though.
Never seen a golf course so packed... dont expect to walk on or a 4 hour round of golf. Fun layout but quality of grounds leaves some to be desired. Driving range is nothing but dirt no grass. Friendly staff keeps this from being 2 stars.
Overall a good municipal course, very open fairways and has its share of good holes. That being said, I’ve never seen a driving range in such bad shape. Range is uneven, with maybe 10% having some semblance of grass. I hate mats but this place needs to put some out periodically or put some effort into maintenance.
When I say that I underestimated this place, I mean I REALLY did! Some of the plushiest fairways around and although greens were a little hairy, they were ultimately consistent! There wasn’t a bad green on the course! Very pleased to say the least
