Charlie's Restaurant

Charlies is the best American cuisine restaurant around. Portions are generous, the seasoning is on point, & they offer traditional flavored American food. Pancakes and home fries are a must try! Whether you're going for breakfast, lunch, or dinner you can't go wrong. The kitchen is out in the open too, so you get to see how your food is made. They're accommodating for people with allergies or food restrictions. I def recommend trying!

Nice little diner. This place has been here for many years. It's a tiny unassuming place but the staff is friendly and the food is very good. As of the date of this review there is no longer outdoor dining

I fundamentally refuse to eat with anyone named Charlie. Thankfully, "Charlie's Restaurant" keeps Charlie in a cage in the kitchen. I asked to see him to ensure that the cage was secure and also to drop off an unobtrusive cake that I had baked for Charlie, but the staff refused. Good, I didn't want to see Charlie anyway. They did deliver my cake to him though. The food was delicious. MmmmMMmmmMMMmmMMmmmMm. Ambiance was fine. I heard that, later in the day, Charlie escaped his cage and disrupted some diners' meals. But my visit was 100% Charlie-less. Haven't seen a Charlie since.

Excellent food, we ordered the chicken fingers platter, turkey triple decker platter, chicken gyro platter and cheese burger platter. Great food and looking forward to ordering or eating there again. UPDATE—- Do your customers a favor when they order online let them see an UPDATED MENU WITH THE NEW PRICES.

West new York's hidden gem. Been walking by this place for about a year now , finally caught them open. Went there for breakfast and it was spot on reminded me of a dinner when I was a kid ,this is also the only place Bergenline where you can get a good old school style breakfast. They also have lunch and dinner options which I am sure are just as good. I highly recommend giving this place a chance service was very friendly as well.

I've posted a negative review before- when I used to live here in WNY Now that I've moved I missed this place It is the only decent diner for blocks around And the staff have never been anything but gracious and accommodating It takes leaving WNY to realize that

The food is amazing, they have amazing coffee and either if they are busy or not busy, they attend you very fast! La comida es increíble, tienen un café increíble y si están ocupados o no, ¡te atienden muy rápido! Oh, and for Spanish speakers, they speak spanish.

Sharing about wonderful customer service experience. Our waitress had a wonderful way about her and was kind. We asked to sit a bit longer to get work done and she said it's fine until all other tables were full. It had a quaint feel to it with her yelling the older back to the chef. Seems there were many regulars and we heard them being greeted by name. Food was ordinary, we got omelets, but we would go back again for the service.
