I had a large tree that needed to come down in my back yard between some wires because it was going to fall on my roof. Charlie came over the same day and gave me a quote that was far less than the other outfit that I had called. He did great work, they were fast, efficient and courteous - as well as being dog-friendly. Charlie is a licensed tree expert and is fully insured. He was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend his work highly.
The owner, Charlie, Has 30 years of experience in the business. However, Charlie is not a salesman on the make; what you’ll get is an honest appraisal and a professional on the job. What I found other tree service companies came across as very knowledgeable and informed but in practice they were nowhere near as good at felling the tree... Charlie employees competent people and it showed on the job site. It was all very professional and his staff were polite. I’ve had 9 trees removed over the years and I’ve used a few different companies... What specifically impressed me about Charlie was that he spent the time to rope large branches down this means the branches were controlled as they fell as opposed to just falling - which is much easier. He did this to protect a small brick retaining wall. He mulched up all the debris and clean up walls as it should be. Five stars.
Charlie came over and gave us a very fair and wonderful estimate for trimming a really scary evergreen in our yard. He is licensed and insured for his tree trimming which is excellent! He also showed up on time, and got the job done in an amazingly short time! He was courteous, personal and very professional. He also asked for my opinion after he was done to make sure everything was exactly as we needed. And he gave an amazing reference for other landscaping we needed done and got the guy to come over right then to give us an estimate for the other work we needed done. Charlie is an amazing guy and anyone would be lucky to have him fix up their trees!
In the wake of the Nor'Easter windstorm in March of 2018, Charlie provided a great service in removing a downed tree on my property. Although he was VERY busy due to the storm, he made multiple trips to my house to complete his work. He did a thorough job and his price was much better than the other estimates received.
I live in Severn. Called Charlie and he promptly returned my call. We were able to quickly schedule removal of fallen trees on my property. The wooded area looked like a wind storm came through . There were fallen trees, shrubbery, branches and debris. I'm very pleased with his work. My wooded area looked very nice now. Call Charlie, he's the one to get the job done!!
Charlie came out promptly, gave a very reasonable quote, and scheduled removal of five small-to-medium sized trees in my yard within a week. Him and his team came out and promptly removed all five extremely quickly. Little to no debris left over, even on the roof! I recommend his company immensely.
