This is peak Neighborhood Public Pool: massive complex, diving board, lap lanes, and massive 3’ area for younger or inexperienced swimmers. We went here the entire summer, 2-3x per week, and never felt it was crowded –even on the hottest, off-school hours. PEOPLE VISITING FOR THE FIRST TIME: CASH ONLY; $5 PER PERSON. Four star rating because a few minor tweaks/updates would make this pool a perfect public pool option: 1. Room to improve the snack/drink offerings. Junk food is great for kid swim, but a few expanded options for older kids & adults would be a welcome addition. 2. Technology to process mobile payment. The cash-only policy is fine, but the option for another contactless or card option would surly increase the number of transactions patrons are willing to spend. 3. Membership: DO THE MATH. We opted to *not* purchase a membership as we would never match the cost per visit expense of a membership so we paid out of pocket each time. Regardless of these nice-to-have recommendations, this pool and community that regularly attends is fantastic and we’ll continue to make Chastain Park Pool our summer go-to.
A public pool, though the workers act privileged and aren't inviting. Am interested in report from Ga Dept. of public health.
Great pool with on site life guards. There is a nice friendly atmosphere and snacks are available for purchase. In regards to the pool- it consist of three distinct areas: diving/deep pool, lap pool, general pool. The only issue I have had is that my children somehow always end up with a cut on their toes.
Terrific space for recreational swimming or those who want to swim laps. Plenty of lanes, well maintained, and friendly staff. Can swim under canopy to get outside feel and good airflow or in direct sun.
This is the pool where I train during the summer months. It's nice because there are actually 3 pools and the main training pool is covered by a large tent so there is plenty of shade. The other 2 pools have lanes but are mainly for family play and are in full sun. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the large pool is only 25 yards and not 50 meters. The location and staff more than make up for it.
This community space offers three, THREE, different pools. Pretty dang impressive for a public club. There's a shallow pool for younger kids, a pool with lanes for swimming laps, and a deep pool with a diving board. Deck accommodations include chaise chairs and umbrellaed tables. The people who run the place are responsible and diligent about safety without coming across as rude. In the spring, they run a kids swimming program which competes against other area pools. You can get a season membership or pay per visit. A great escape from the heat regardless of your age. #Buckhead #Swimming #CannonBallContest
Two separate areas for adults and kids alike, there is a jumping board and multiple swimming lanes. Low admission cost
As a developer I have to put up with a lot of stress on a daily basis as I have to be 100% concentrated and all the deadlines doesn't help either. Luckily for me I discovered that swimming is the perfect way to relieve all the stress I've built throughout the week. Chastian Park Athletic Club is my preferred pool as it is rarely crowded and the water is really clean. Furthermore the locker room and the showers are well maintained which really completes the positive experience. Keep up the good work guys.
Nice place and pool for swimming. Rate is only 5 $ for guests
Three different pools and fairly clean; diving board and basketball court. The middle pool is shaded so you can sit out of the sun if you want.
