Fast Casual Restaurant located in NY's famous Lower East Side with an elegant new twist on a classic comfort food.

Story

The historic Lower East Side of Manhattan is well known for having some of the best eats in the world. Cheese Grille has certainly become a major player in that category. And nothing like true American comfort food as a hot, crispy-gooey grilled cheese. We have over a dozen grilled cheese to choose from! Our cheese come from some of the best creameries, both foreign and domestic. Our bread is delivered daily from renowned Balthazar Bakery. Be sure to pair your grilled cheese with a tasty side and a refreshing beer or glass of wine. Happy eats! :)

Delicious food, great drinks, fun atmosphere. I love the man & cheese bites with the tomato soup, omg so good. Grilled cheese is great of course. Have gone back many times.
Grilled cheese here is garbage. Didn't even look good but still gave it a try. The bread wasn't nice and soft. Too hard. They may be good at other stuff but not the grilled cheese. Sad.
Easily by far one of the best tomato soup you’ll find in New York and for a fair price. For only 3.50 you can get a cup and for 5.50 you can get a bowl! It’s got a nice little spice to it as well. The service and setting are a perfect combo to accommodate. Will definitely be returning here very soon.
Used to be great, but no more. We ordered a vodka coke, they gave us a vodka soda. We ordered a Prosecco, there were no bubbles because the bottle had been opened 2 days ago. The grilled cheeses’ are heavy on the bread and cheap on the cheese.
The food was amazing, and the workers were really nice. The environment inside is very nice and chill. I will definitely be coming back here all the time. Only downside is that i would have liked it if they had fried mozzarella sticks.
