Chef’s Emporium

My boyfriend and I are foodies and we enjoy kitchen gadgets and cookware of all kinds. So when he told me about this place I was so excited to go. The store is full of everything a Foodie and cook would want. We looked around for nearly an hour. The prices were a bit up there but not anymore than I expected. We got a few gadgets that look tempting. Overall nice place.

I would give this place a negative rating if possible. The class I paid for was around $130 for 2 people.. we basically didn't learn a thing, and ate sub-par ravioli as the result. The instructor was awful and didn't even introduce himself. He also brought home the leftovers for his girlfriend instead of offering them to us!!! We could've saved the money and spent it at a very nice Italian restaurant instead, where we know the food and service would be worth it. I tried calling to speak to the owner or manager to maybe get a re-reimbursement or a credit. They consistently told me the owner would give me a call back and the owner NEVER called me back (I called 6 times a couple months ago). Talk about horrible customer service! I would never go here again, and I don't recommend anyone else does either. It would be a complete waste of your time and money.

Without a doubt one of the worst experiences I've ever had. My best friend and I took a few cooking classes there including a Paella class. The instructor forgot the recipe sheets, but took a list of emails to forward the recipe later. We didn't receive it. I stopped in on more than 5 occasions trying to get the recipe and I was promised it each time. It never happened. Fast forward a few years of not shopping there or doing anymore cooking classes there. I decide to order 24 20.8 ounce glasses. I give my name and number. I'm told they were already ordered and it's confirmed they will be there two days later. Two weeks later I stop in to find that they clearly hadn't been ordered (although they lied and said it was a distribution issue...and then had the gall to ask my contact information again). I spoke to the store manager who assured me that I would get a call within a week. That was over a month ago. I'm done. I'm done with the higher prices, the incompetence, the lack of caring, the disorganized cooking classes, and the lying. I'd rather shop somewhere that cares about their customers and takes pride in their work.

Quite selection of kitchen utensils for an amateur and chefs, that will find home at both home and restaurant kitchen. Also there is a nook where you can try exotic infused oils. They apparently also do cooking and baking courses but I wasn't able to ever get their schedule

I purchased Shun knives about a year ago. They told me i needed a good wooden cutting board. The one they sold me has completely fallen apart. They get 3 stars because the Shun knives are great.
