I am never really one to do this. However, I feel like people need to know. I have been here a few times and never had a complaint. Today, I went to lunch with a friend and a ROACH was climbing the wall and started to crawl towards me. After telling the waitress, the helped us move but nothing else was done. I'm fairly sure she killed it with the rag that is used to clean the table but I am hoping that it was properly thrown away. After moving, I could not finish my plate without feeling sick, thinking about what touched my food. I did not want to cause a fuss and just paid and left. Again, I understand that this can happen anywhere. But if this bug is comfortable coming near people, I don't doubt it has touched the food either.
I love this place because it's consistent. Staff are always nice and the food is always edible. It's conveniently located next to Crest, a laundromat, a wig/beauty supply and multiple stores to satisfy your shopping needs. And it's always clean and smells nice. Tables are never sticky and the patrons speak to each other. It's kinda like one of those family style places except you get your own table lol.
My husband and daughter were here 7/1/22 @ 4:30 for an early dinner. My husband texted me not long after arrival that he found the pictured BUG in their low mein. He brought it to his waitresses attention who then told the manager. The manager walked over with the bug in her hand and insisted it was some obscure ingredient and squished it between her fingers! My husband could see wings and antennae! Completely denied any kind of compensation/discount despite them being so ill they weren’t able to eat their meal and went to BURGER KING instead. Save your $, get a burger.
I had 1 buffet and water. That cost nearly $16. This is not for the special Sunday buffet, which has always been more expensive. Tuesday from 6:30-7pm it was just me and 1 other table. I'm not sure how you can make money when the dinner rush is a total of 4 people. Nor do I see how you can keep fresh food out. It wasn't fresh. I've been coming here off and on for nearly 20 years and my opinion is that this place is past the point of no return. The food is bad, it's no longer inexpensive, and the owners are indifferent to the state it's in. Rather than raising prices, why not make the buffet smaller? I'm sure we don't need french fries at a Chinese buffet.
Food Nasty! They have old food out and add fresh on top. Chicken and mushroom sauce smelled bad. Egg rolls smelled spoiled. Had to call police to get my money back because they wanted to argue. Never going there ever again. Yummy Yummy is way better.
Real good food. Not too overly expensive, plenty of variety to choose from. Staff was nice. Not in a hurry to get you out. Bathroom is kind of tacky. Graffiti all over the walls dirty floors and just dirty in general. I’d come again though
Decent food, very good egg drop soup. I can’t speak to the sushi, but it looked fresh. Food was being brought out constantly to refresh and refill. I think that’s a good sign at a buffet. The server came very infrequently, but that was fine for the mood I was in. The tea was refilled when it needed to be and he brought me some sauce I missed in the buffet. I am pleased to have found this place so close to my house.
This is the worst food I have ever eaten. Every single piece of food had the same flavor….it all tasted like the back of the freezer French fries. Everything was stale or old tasting even my two year old who eats anything and everything would touch anything. Then we we were telling the staff that our food wasn’t good and that we didn’t like it instead of a refund or discount or something they just said okay thanks for letting us know. So save your $15 per person and go home and eat a pbj you’ll be able to keep that down a lot better. I’m am actually nauseous from this food and I had a nibble off everything on my plate
Rather this place is a hit or a miss varies on a day to day basis, the food can be hot and delicious one day.. Or room temperature and bare bones the next. If you do decide to eat here, I highly recommend dining in because the prices on carry out are highway robbery. They claim they base carry out prices via per pound, but I’ve literally seen the lady at the cashier’s counter look at what a person has in their take out container, make up a random number in her head, then say it’s because the person got a lot of food.. Which doesn’t make sense because you could eat 3 times as much and pay way less by dining in.. But hey, if you’re in a hurry and don’t mind getting charged twice the amount you normally would pay if you ate there do you.
Highest quality Asian buffet I’ve ever been to. There is a good variety of food and it’s all delicious. It’s also very clean and has friendly service.
