Your Local Neighborhood Music Store and Music School. Offering Music Lessons 6 days a week for more than 15 instruments!
The foundation for our store was laid in 1995, when Doug Ponier opened Ponier Percussion in Marietta and became an active part of the North Georgia music community. In 1999, my father purchased my first guitar from Ponier Music Acworth and from that point on my love for music would only grow! In 2008, Kevin & Camilla Sanders teamed up to create Ponier Music Woodstock, A staple of the Cherokee County community for 9 years. Now called Cherokee Music Center, we mirror what Ponier Music Woodstock and Ponier Music Marietta have created over the past decade, and aim to revitalize the Cherokee County music scene as well as showcase the amazing students and acts in our local area. We carry some of the finest name brands in music: Martin, Taylor, Dean, Luna, Ludwig, Ddrum and Zildjian to name a few, along with used gear, band and Instrument rentals, PA rentals, and MUCH MORE!!
Our store offers a welcoming environment for guests complete with music lessons, The Listening Room for playing sessions, and instrument service and repair. We look forward to meeting you soon!
