I've spent most of my life in South Charlotte and have been frequenting this place for over 18 years. It's a small take-out, 4 tables for dine-in, but In the future I will order delivery or take-out. I ordered a chicken fried rice and triple delight. The chicken fried rice was some of the best fried rice I've had since i moved down from NY. I haven't been able to find food like this in the south. The triple delight had a very delicious spicy brown sauce, and in a pretty generous portion. All in all, it's now by restaurant of choice.
I stopped by to pick up a meal to go for my Mom. The older female employee was very curt and abrupt and acted impatient to take my order. No smiles at all. The evening prices were WAY too expensive for a hole-in-the-wall type fast service Chinese place. Basically $10 for Chicken and Broccoli? The quality of the food was mediocre. The sauce had hard bits of some kind of shell it seemed. I won't be back.
Attempted to order beef & broccoli and chicken fried rice total came up to $28.XX... TWENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS! First their food is NOT $14.00 a plate good. Second, I live 5 minutes from their store and they insist the order be $20.00 minimum for them to deliver. FIVE MINUTES! Third, I always tip the delivery person well $7 - $10 depending on how quickly they get to me. Cherry Blossom is NOT worth $35 - $38 dollars! RUDE! Will not be doing business with such a greedy, overpriced restaurant, ever again.
A long-standing South Charlotte restaurant. I've literally been coming for two decades. It's not a fine dining establishment, so don't look for that. This is a great little hole in the wall Chinese fast food joint. The food is good and fresh, the owners are happy to serve, and the pricing is comparable to anything similar. Overall, my experiences here have always been quite good.
Chinese food is either prepared fresh or just kinda blah, same old generic food and this place is one of the best!! And the couple that works the counter are such nice people it makes it enjoyable to go there. Not really somewhere you sit down to eat just pick up and deliver but there is seating there if you want to eat there but not much. Anyways good people, good food, good bye.
Took over an hour to deliver and i'm with in 10 minuets of their location, I ordered chicken with broccoli and pork fried rice. Food was cold and meat is minced and chewy like gristle and most important the delivery man had absolutely no change for my payment when i advised i was paying with cash during my order. I always tip but i do not like to be forced to tip and he did not give me my receipt. I will not order from there again.
I had the Black Pepper Chicken and a side of steamed dumplings this evening. SO GOOD. It's hard to beat dumplings but the chicken was excellent. Guy at the front was very friendly. We chatted for a bit about a trip I had just taken to Asheville. Would recommend going here.
Please do yourself a favor, and never order from here. The mongolian beef is maybe 10% beef. Of that, it was all tough and not very flavorful. It honestly did not even taste like mongolian beef. The white rice was dry and undercooked. The plain lo mein was good, but lacking. Definitely sub-par to every other restaurant I've been to. The best part of the meal was fried dumplings, and those weren't even that great. Everything is overpriced. I honestly feel cheated, and am never bringing my money there again.
Food is overpriced!!! Ordered house lo mein paid almost $9.00 .found 2 shrimp in entire dish.Noodles were not even soft. Worst lo mein I ever ate. Customer service was rude and unwelcoming.. With all the Chinese/Asian restaurants to choose from..Don't bother w thus one your wasting your money
Very bad place to go to. Over priced. Never left a bad comment about a restaurant but this is the worse food ive ever had. I ordered a Pupu for 2 cost 20$+ to have delivered. When arrived came in 1 small box not even even to feed 1 person Im 145 lbs had to order more food. I called and insisted it must have been a mistake the "chicken wings" were the size of a half dollar. The owners refused to compromise, never once did I raise my voice orninsult the food and they started yelling on the phone and hung up. Food tasted like dog food.
