CherryArts is an awesome venue with artists from around the US with a lot of different styles of art. The weather was absolutely beautiful throughout the weekend of this art festival. The staff were very friendly, nice bar and food options, and awesome atmosphere and live music. I had such a great time at this wonderful gem in Cherry Creek during 4th of July weekend. The Venue goes from July 1st-July 3rd as well. So, to sum it up, awesome venue. I will definitely return next year and would highly recommend coming here.
Small with few vendors all with cherry creek pricing. I liked the art, just not much of it
CherryArts invites you to apply to be one of 255 exhibitors at the 2022 event, a world-class and award-winning celebration of the visual arts. CCAF enjoys an attendance of more than 150,000 visitors to the Cherry Creek North Shopping District in Denver, Colorado. The three-day event gives patrons the rare and special opportunity to meet and purchase art from exhibiting artists. Our goal is to provide the public and our selected exhibitors an experience of unparalleled quality. This is your chance to find out first-hand the accolades as reported by fellow artists: historically very high art sales potential estimated at $19,400 per artist via 2021 Artist Survey, consistently high national rankings, on-site artist amenities/hospitality and a new jury panel each year. Higher than average sales are attributed to the event’s location in Cherry Creek North, an educated art-buying audience and over 1 million in multi-media marketing campaign. Apply now for an incredible exhibition opportunity to sell art at the 31st annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival: July 1, 2, 3, 2022! Additional proceeds from the Arts Festival help CherryArts to fulfill its year-round mission to support artists and arts education, to nurture future generations of art supporters through programs that provide access to the arts.
We are locals who visit the festival every year and happy it's back in original location. Unfortunately, having it on only one main street instead of two with multiple side streets made it terribly crowded and hard to get into booths. Music is always great!
Website and Facebook event said Friday till 8 pm. Drove 20 min and paid $5 in parking. Arrived at 6 pm. Only about five or so vendors were set up. Was told the event didn't "actually" begin until Saturday and the only event going on was a sold out event with the board members present and whoever else got a ticket. Waste of time, gas and money. We won't be back.
This is something we look forward to each year but was really disappointed this year. The move from the quaint streets of Cherry Creek to a hot parking lot was a huge mistake. Also missed the finer touches of water stations with refreshing cherry water. We definitely will not be going back next year if they do the parking lot location again.
As an artist this is one of the best shows I do when i get in. It drawers the best artists from the art fair circuit. The crowds are there to buy and enjoy the event. Yup, it is often hot, but there are plenty of places to eat and drink and cool off. That said I am a storm chase photographer and June is storm season in CO and temps can vary drastically plus with the Sept Stanley show I think they have chosen the right months. I do wonder if folks are away for the July 4th weekend but it doesn't seem to effect attendance, so I guess not. Hope to see you there!!
The Cheer Creek Arts festival is one we attend most every year and we have noticed a definite trend. The artists chosen to exhibit have a penchant for the shock and awe. Its not cool when everyone is doing it and no longer seems cutting edge. A truly great oil painting done with only one`s skill with the oils is seldom seen. Rather its about using one specific technology and reproducing it. Multiple jewelry booths with little differences between them, computer generated prints, many booths of items that display a sense of crudity. And then there are the few truly good artists that have honed their skills. And the arists that want to share their lives and vision. We spent 4 hours touring the booths the day the festival opened this July 2016. The day was thankfully cool. If you arrive, as we did, just a little before 10 am, you can usually snag a spot on one of the residential streets nearby and avoid parking fees. We managed to find some unique pieces but it is getting harder. We still would recommend.
The Arts Festival is great! I go every year and I am looking forward to visiting the booth of one of my favorite artists at the festival again this year, Richard Wilson. He is fabulous! Hopefully the officials will go back to banning dogs again. It is far too crowded to have dogs on leases tripping people not to mention the poor abused dogs walking on burning asphalt. Just common sense.
I look forward to this Art Show every year! I almost always leave with a very special piece of art & love to see returning artists that I collect! Great artists from all over the USA & even glass artists from Brazil! If I consider bringing my dog I always show-up right at opening to avoid the crowds & heat for my pup's consideration. Happy Independence Day!
