Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School

This elementary school is wonderful in every way. Teachers are intelligent, student centered, and kind. Children are trained to be friends, show respect, and work hard. The many playgrounds, pool, and field trips are beyond anything you could hope for in public school. The daily reports and pictures are wonderful. I just can’t say enough good about it. I recommend any parent place their child here with confidence it is a sound decision. We drive across the county to get to this school, and it is so worth it.

My son attended this school for about a year. I was in his classroom one day, unbeknownst to the teacher in the adjoining room. I heard her yell at a little girl and threaten to "tear her legs up." I immediately reported this to the "principal," and she was completely unfazed. Many conversations with the principal and a regional manager resulted in promise that the employee, who admitted to threatening to "tear up" the legs of someone else's child, would be "more closely monitored." No, she wasn't terminated. Later, I interviewed staff from this school who admitted that it is not a healthy environment for children. We removed my son immediately.
