Chex Grill

WOW! I was told the wings were great but DAYUM!!! They are awesome. I was worried when I saw all the flavors trying too hard? but I'm ready try the ALL now! I had the Cilantro Lime and the flavor was on point. BONUS: They had a touch of heat... just the right amount... that took them next level! Did I mention the Onion Rings??? Crispy, crunchy goodness. Made with fresh onions! How do I know? Because THEY were crunchy, not just the batter! When I bit into them, they didn't slide out of the batter. HEAVEN! This spot is going on my list of must-go's when in town.

The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is always great too. I love that they allow you to sample new wing sauces. But my go to flavor is strawberry hot with lemon pepper. Don’t knock it until you try it. Definitely a staple wing spot of mine. Vegetarian options: They offer salads, a vegan burger, veggie sub and fried mushrooms.

Grilled chicken Greek salad was delicious but grilled shrimp Alfredo sub was stale. Chicken wings are too greasy. Sauce flavors taste like expired products.Food: 2/5

I'm just saying this spot has went so down hill for me. The food is expensive and sub par. Today I want to really comment on how can you charge 6 dollars for a plain salad. Im also trying to figure out why they don't chop up the lettuce and tomato. I didn't think it was possible to make a plain salad taste so gross even with dressing. The tomatoes were old and the lettuce tasted like it was soaking in water before going into the box. It's hard enough to try and eat healthy these days but to not be able to get a good basic salad is crazy to me. This last few times I ordered wings they were hard and dry even when sauced. Everyone does not like their wings fried hard unless requested. Wings are supposed to be crispy yet juicy. I won't be coming back here. Seems like most restaurants except for a few on this side of town have lost the love of serving this community tasty food anymore. I'm highly disappointed. The dining room was filthy even though it was empty. There was food all on the floor and on the legs of the tables and chairs. The tables were filthy as well so I waited in my car. You can't run a successful business with such low standards.

Was referred to this place by a friend and from the time I walked in everything was on point! The young lady Arlette definitely got me right with great customer service and suggested the best wing flavors based on public popularity and her on personal preference I’m going home satisfied and full…I’ll be back tomorrow lolFood: 5/5

We purchased Lemon & Buffalo Wings. Both were very good and favorable. The price is a bit much. However, when you want wings and don't feel like cooking, it's a good place to go. If you have time, get some wings from the store and make them yourself...it's a lot cheaper. With that said, I would go back in the future.Food: 4/5

I was hungry and thought about eating uptown but there was a Charlotte Panther’s game and parking was hard to find. I decided to go to the next closest location on Freedom Drive. Although I saw a Dominos and McDonald’s across the street, I chose Chex Grill & Wings. Having lived in the Middle East, I was used to eating Shawarmas. I decided to order the Chex Wrap since it was the closest thing to a Shawarma. I was greeted by Arlette who welcomed me to Chex Grill & Wings. She said give us about 10 minutes to prepare the food. Sure enough, the food was piping hot in 10 minutes. I ate in so I could enjoy my meal. The food was delicious. They also have a nice variety of desserts, so be sure to get some. I’m glad I made a right turn into Chex as opposed to a left turn into McDonald’s. Parking: There are plenty of parking spots at Chex.

Great wings! I was looking for a decent price wings in the area and came across this place. The wings are great. thousands of flavors to choose from and the fries are well seasoned with seasoned salt. You can choose extra crispy wings as an option which is great because most places you’re not sure if they’re gonna come out crispy or not
