My best friend taking care of my wife. What a good feeling. I just wish we could have "Chez Alvi Salon" where we live in Dallas, Texas. This place is amazing and the staff is beyond perfect.

Absolutely the best hair stylists and colorists in the country! I’m so lucky to have Cristina and Christian in Astoria. I used to spend over $300 just for a haircut and over $400 for very basic color and gloss treatments at various high end salons in Manhattan and Chez Alvi is better than anyone I have ever used. Their prices are so reasonable and they are sweet and kind. They never make me wait and they actually listen to what I want and need. No sales pressure either! Can’t recommend them enough!!

I came to chez alvi after seeing all the good reviews and I am in love! I saw Lushka hope I spelled it right and she did an amazing job! I left feeling like a supermodel with my new hair. She gave me exactly what my long, limp hair needed. She's so sweet and a true professional. I also love that they use Aveda products since its an aveda salon & it's all plant based. Will definitely be coming back here ASAP!

Just got out from this gem! Was delighted to meet those amazing people... the salon is so French looking, really classy and clean I've been there on a Saturday, and the lady who cuts my hair has over 35 years of experience... and I felt it! They don't try to overprice you, so the hair stylist was like "you don't need blow dry, you can already see the layers!"! And got an extra 20% off as a new customer! I'm really happy about the cut, it looks really nice! Go there!!! Extra: the coffee is better than anywhere else in the neighborhood

Loved this salon from the moment I walked in. Beautiful, clean and modern facility. The owner Alba is very sweet and welcoming. Rebecca did such an amazing job on my hair. She also rocked my sister in laws hair. I felt like a queen being pampered Chez Alvi is highly recommended. They all knocked the ball out of the park. Can't wait to go back. Taking my daughter's there today

Since I moved to NYC 2 years ago it's the first time I feel in good hands and see that's the hairdresser know totally what she is doing. Alba is very nice and welcoming. Cristina is amazing. I love my color ! I get so many good compliments. I recommend this salon.

Love love love!!!! I just moved to this area and I think I found my pot of gold! Christian was absolutely amazing and I never felt more confident and beautiful after walking out a salon. Great conversation, not afraid to give you recommendations for styles and they have really nice complimentary cappuccinos and tea. The staff was super friendly and the cut was well worth the price. I was going from medium/long to short hair and was super apprehensive about the cut, but I went ahead and scheduled an appointment at this salon. The Stylist that was given to me was Cristina. I told her what I wanted and she did an excellent job taking me from long to short. She gave me the cutest haircut. Instead of it me having anxiety, I was happy and felt good about my new funky haircut. She will be my new go to Stylist. The whole experience at this salon was wonderful.

I love love love Chez Alvi. I travel there even though I am no longer working in Astoria....from New Jersey! Let me give you an idea of the experience. When you enter Alba, the salon owner will greet you and makes you feel welcome and like family. She is such a warm and genuine person My stylist is Christian...who is such a beautiful soul and artist. He will interview you to know just what you services you want. Christian will assess you hair and wants and make any suggestions he thinks will improve your style. ....but if you still want only your one inch cut as I USED to tell him ..he will do that because he truly wants you to be happy.... I have learned my lesson and let his suggestion be the one I trust. Because after all he is the professional!! I color my hair and Christian is not only a super stylist but also genuis as a colorist...using Aveda products. I can only tell you it is worth every minute of travel time to get salon services at Chez Alvi. Professional, great ambiance, beautiful people... and super reasonable prices. Who can ask for more? HIGHLY recommend

Beautiful tranquil salon with great service standards. It's a Manhattan experience without having to cross the bridge. My hair was amazing, Rebecca is great. The owner is gracious, warm and very sweet. They offer water or a warm beverage and hand massages with services. They also carry the product line so you can always pop in the pick up your favs! Truly one of a kind in Queens!!!
