This Chick-fil-A is, perhaps unfortunately, the best place to eat at Georgia Tech. The Cobb salad is particularly good. Unusually for a campus location, it's run by Chick-fil-A corporate, not Sodexo or something, so they have a much higher quality standard. Being a top dining option, there's always a line, but the app tends to get you food quickly. I think they've mostly ironed out the staffing and lunch rush issues they were having when they first opened in August. Overall, this is a good lunch choice if you're already on GT's campus.
For being an on campus dining location it's actually incredible. They're still very quick and always good quality.Food: 5/5
Located in the first floor of the student center at Georgia Tech, this chick-fil-a is standard for the franchise, with the exception that the service is not as remarkable as most chick-fil-as. As for the food, it tastes standard and delicious, though the servicing sizes are of impressive.
They don’t take mobile orders usually and I’ve heard they have an understaffing issue
They are supposed to be taking mobile orders through the app but the management at this location always disables it.
This Chic-fil-A is located inside the Student center building situated inside the Georgia Tech campus. It is the same as any other Chick-fil-A with their standard chicken sandwich and all related items but with limited menu. Service here is quite fast but usually has a long waiting time during the lunch hours. The seating area has a nice and hearty atmosphere
This chic-fil-a is run by good for nothing Georgia Tech food service employees. If chic-fil-a was able to handle hiring/firing, I believe this place would be magnitudes of order more efficient. The one star given is because the food is not terrible—the other four taken off were due to the following: 1 terrible customer service 2 always running out of certain foods/sauces who is in charge of inventory??? 3 long waiting times sometimes upwards of 30 min for 20 people 4 employee laziness never going above and beyond for customer satisfaction. I heard tonight, “I’m ready to go home” multiple times from the same employee who was standing around instead of helping the long line of customers. This has happened upon multiple visits. All of these reasons make this chic-fil-a one of the worst I have ever seen. All of the previous reasons would be fixed if the companies inside of the GT student center could hire/fire their own staff.
I ordered Chicken Minis before 10:30 and I ended up getting Chicken Nuggets. Now to most non-Chickfila people this isn’t a big deal, however, given the small time frame to receive Chicken Mini’s combined with a college schedule-it is very hard to be given the possibility to obtain them. I had this possibility today, and was disappointed with plain chicken nuggets.
If takeout is not available and you use Google maps, put the up-to-date information. We walked there to see we could not order takeout though the map showed otherwise. Because we walked and had no car, the lady in front of the store told us we could not use drive-thru to order. This is the first time for me that a restaurant refused to provide service.
It is Chick-Fil-A express. So don't expect the same level of service or all the usual options. Among other things, they don't have grilled nuggets or cobb salads. What they do have is good, you just won't get it that fast.
