This place was delicious with friendly service. Some of the food is a little too salty but the shrimp adobo is super good.
It's a small dining area. If you have a party of four then you may just want to take it to go. The Longonisa was great, I'll have to try the Tocino next time. The Halo Halo was great. The Lumpia was sold out by the time we got there. People from my party said the Bistek and Siging was a bit sour though. Prices for meals range from $9-$11. I'd come back again but only when I'm really craving some Filipino food.
Good Filipino food, small cozy restaurant, geared mostly towards to-go orders.
Was not expecting a hole in the wall kind of set up, but I appreciated the menu being relatively simple. To me that says the dishes are going to be fresher because they have to manage less variety. Rice was cooked well, sauces were subtle without being overpowering. I had the shrimp adobo with green beans and was honestly expecting the green beans to be overcooked. They were not, they still had a bit of crunch to go with the marinade and was a very nice perk. I'll also admit I thought the portions looked a bit small until I got the last bite and realized "Oh wow, that was actually the correct amount of food without going over." so kudos on portion control. Speed was quick, the people were friendly. A word on the rice, I've eaten at other Filipino places and it usually ends up so dry. The rice here was actually well cooked. Small detail but the rice being poorly cooked can mess up the whole experience. I'd come back for more.
This place is really hit and miss. I can stop in here 1 day and the food is good, 4 star good. I can then stop in the next two times and it tastes like it was heated up and a day or two old. The food also can end up being too salty. The chicken adobo can be good along with one of the shrimp dishes but it is too hit/miss. We still will stop once in awhile but wish it would be more consistent
Really great flavors. I have been eating Filipino food my whole life and I have never had a shrimp adobo. It was spectacular. I got 5 different dishes and a full order of the Lumpia. All of them were very good. Definitely give this place a try.
Wow! That shrimp adobo is on point! That sauce tho! Josh, the owner is super nice and also cooks amazing grub. You can tell he loves what he does. Definitely on my list of fave places to eat.
Been missing that Filipino dish, best place to go for the classic chicken adobo, owners has been in business for a while and expnded out to the Washington town square. This location is kinda small but still feels like home, classic adobo is about $10 don't forget to ask for garlic rice! And bunch is served all day.
If you're looking for Filipino food in Beaverton to satisfy you're cravings, this place offers Adobo hence the name, lumpia, longsilog, palabok, etc. I've tried the Shrimp Adobo, lumpia, and palabok. I was a little hesitant about ordering the palabok bc not all Filipino restaurants make it the way I like it Jollibee style, but I ordered it anyway and it did not disappoint. The only reason why I didn't give 5-stars is bc the adobo and the green beans were a little salty.
Chicken Adobo has some of the best food in the area! The flavors are great and the portions are generous. The shrimp adobo is so tasty and delicious. I highly recommend trying this place!
