Chimcare Salem

We have used Chimcare twice for some chimney repair initially and a chimney sweep a year later. They are easy to schedule with. Steven G. arrived on time and was thorough in cleaning the chimney as well as leaving behind a clean work site. Their prices are reasonable for friendly and professional service.

Had a very odd conversation with one of their reps, Bianca. She offered an appointment time on a specific day that didn't work for me. I asked for one later in the day, and she said the latest they could schedule was 3:00pm. I asked for another day, and she said there were no other appointments open any other days. Her tone was disinterested and dismissive. In said "ok, I guess I call someone else." She said "ok, bye!" The whole conversation was weird, not hostile, just super odd. Guess they're not interested in my business. Maybe she was having a bad day. Regardless, I'd expect her to offer times on other days.

I'm an apartment maintenance guy and these guys made it possible for me to make old, antique fireplaces functional again by fabricating refractory walls that I couldn't find anyone else to make. Plus, they gave me a great deal to earn our business even though they've cornered the market for my needs in my area.

Maclain was thorough and courteous. He checked the stovepipe cap, something that hasn't been done for years and noticed a caulking issue that other companies missed. They may charge more than other companies but are more thorough and are very professional

Maclane from Chimcare was out to service our chimney and fireplace today and did an excellent job of explaining what repairs needed to be done. He was also on time and courteous.
