China Acupuncture was recommended to me by a Chinese friend whose family members have been here. I have had acupuncture in the past for general well-being, but never for anything specific. I came here for facial paralysis and after only two treatments my face was about 80% back to normal. I will continue to go. Michelle is great - she is very caring and knowledgeable. She took her time and her professionalism and expertise is amazing. Highly recommend!
First of all, I'd like to say, "Thank you, Michelle. You're simply awesome!" Yes, definitely I'd highly recommend everyone who happens to be visiting NYC to come and see Michelle for the BEST Chinese Healing Treatments including Acupuncture, Cupping and even healing massage. Michele surely knows her field as she's well-trained in both world, at the best of Eastern and Western medical universities as a very well qualified Medical Doctor and yes, she's very kind, sweet and super thoughtful and friendly, too. Once again, without hesitation I'd highly recommend her to everyone especially if you really need a real treatment for your injury or pain as she helped me with my arm injury and pain as well as my back pain only in one session! Definitely 10 STARS for Michelle and I'll be back to see her again when visiting NYC next time!
Michelle is simply amazing. I had a work injury in my elbow from over use that ended up getting so bad the pain interfered with every day life. I was worried that I may have caused permanent damage. I had tried everything ice packs, stretching, resting, anti-inflammatory foods, tiger balm, ibuprofen, etc., but the pain remained. I finally looked into acupuncture after a few nudges from trusted friends and came across Michelle in Chinatown. Long story short, after 4 sessions I am back to my old self. I ended up doing 2 more sessions to be safe and I will be going back here and there for ongoing upkeep. It's true what they say - acupuncture helps release any tension to allow the body to heal itself naturally. While massages and everything else provide temporary relief, I feel acupuncture got to the root of the problem. Highly recommend it and I highly recommend you reach out to Michelle to schedule a session. Happy healing, everyone.
This was such an amazing and peaceful place! Liddy took care of my mom and grandmother with their pains and they came out feeling so much better than how they walked into the place! And their pricing is very reasonable. Definitely will be back!
I have been coming to Michelle for the past two years for various injuries and a rare nerve issue. This place is a secret gem! I continue to come back for overall maintenance ~ Michelle always takes great care and is very knowledgable and thorough. I can not say enough good things, highly recommend.
I was very impressed with the China Acupuncture Center. I had never had acupuncture before, but after just one session I already felt an improvement for chronic pain. I now have regular sessions and am very happy with the results!
When I found China Acupuncture, I'd been dealing with daily stress-induced nausea for months. 3 weeks of sessions here resulted in a major improvement. I went from daily nausea with vomiting 2-3 times a week to making it a whole week without throwing up and 5/7 days without nausea. I fully expect after more sessions I will be good as new. It's been such a relief and I couldn't be more grateful. Every time I've visited I've been worked on by Michelle and she is just the best! She is a consummate professional with years of experience who can often tell what's up with me before I describe it myself. I now have a standing weekly appointment with her and look forward to feeling better after each session. On top of that the services are fairly priced, even affordable. I've recommended China Acupuncture to my friends and family and I recommend it to anyone with seemingly intractable functional issues. I'm so grateful for the help I've received here.
Michelle is the best acupuncturist I have ever been to; she is truly a miracle worker and cares about her clients. She is highly knowledgeable and can quickly identify and fix any physical and emotional problems. I've experienced significant health and healing benefits since going to Michelle. She has helped me overcome many symptoms that I was struggling with for some time. My visits with her have provided a significant amount of relief, both mentally and physically. She cured my back pain in just a few treatments, and I have seen substantial improvement in the movement in my ankle. Every session, I always walk away so relaxed, refreshed, and have tons of energy the following days. I am glad to have met her! I would highly recommend Michelle to anyone, even if you haven't had acupuncture; she is the person to begin your acupuncture journey, she is highly resourceful in answering any questions. Thank you, Michelle! See you soon :
Spring has sprung in NYC and I needed allergy relief before a big conference. As an out of towner, I rely on reviews to help guide where to go, and I’m so glad to add my 5 star review to China Acupuncture Center. Lily was able to fit me in an hour before closing on a busy Friday afternoon. Be aware that access to the center requires walking up several flights of stairs, and the space itself is typically NYC: small! But after a few questions about my symptoms, she had me lie down on a table and went to work. Even with a lot of acupuncture experience, I was still getting needles in some new-to-me sinus points; that said, I didn’t feel a thing. I appreciate that she asked if it was my first time getting acupuncture. Lily is a true expert and within an hour my sore throat was gone and sinuses open so I could breathe more freely. Bring cash!!! It’s always smart anyways, and the day I went the card reader was down. I’d return many times.
I went to this establishment after reading the stellar Google reviews. The place itself was on the 3rd floor walk-up and although a tiny suite, it was legit and clean. I walked-in on a Sun afternoon and Lily was kind enough to accommodate me. I was planning to seek acupuncture treatment for my ongoing neck/shoulder injury following vigorous high intensity workouts but most importantly my left hip joint following my attempt on indoor rock climbing, LOL. Using my limited command in Mandarin, I relayed my issues and points in my body where it was hurting to Lily and she immediately got into action. Lily was professional, patient and very detailed on answering my questions. I had immediate relief after the treatment and plan to have a follow-up in a couple of weeks. In short, I’d recommend! The treatment lasted an hour and cost $75 without tips.
