China Moon

Chinese buffet with decent amount of options. It was consistently busy and the good was fresh and being replaced frequently. Servers were very, very attentive and friendly. Food was all good quality and there were lots of things I didnt get to try before I was full. Could expand their dessert selection, but they have all the staples and a to-go option. Felt that this was a good price for the variety of options and quality of food.

We were kind of disappointed at the quality of food at this particular China Moon the one in Derby Vermont as the best food of any Buffet China Moon we have ever been to and we have been do Chinese restaurants in 37 States. We were even further dismayed when what looked like a 13 or 14 year old girl on crutches fell coming into the door due to a wet floor caused by mopping seconds before she fell my feet were slipping fairly good on the floor there was no wet floor sign no warning and when the girl fell the manager who was working saw the fall and kept walking away and didn't even respond to the girl she was helped up by another customer since I had plates in my hand. On top of that we continued eating and even with the floor still being wet when we left a good 15 minutes later there was still no wet floor sign up.

What a treat my boyfriend and I found this spot on our way home from a camping trip. Everything we had was delicious, like better than most Chinese places. Not a whole lot of the chinese selection, but everything we had was really yummy. The staff was super nice too!

Worst eating experience in a long time. Food was old, dry, over cooked, tasteless and lukewarm. My impression was that it had been rewarmed multiple times. It looks pretty though--just not edible. (White River Junction location)

Cheap, delicious Chinese food. $10.95 for the buffet. If you want to eat only one type of dish with no mixing and don't mind the extra price of appetizers, try the menu. Most meals range from $8-$11 with $4-6 or so for appetizers. I prefer to mix and match the dishes and I also like being able to get appetizers like Crab Rangoon or dessert such as ice cream without an extra cost. I enjoyed their food twice in one week for a good, cheap meal featuring variety. I didn't have any bad "experiences" after my visits either. Always a plus.
