This is a vanity gallery. The artists pay to show here, rent out the space. Don’t come here expecting to find great art, but you can support your friends art show if they decide to rent out the space. The location is prime and fun for a night out in LES.
All happy galleries are alike; each unhappy gallery is unhappy in its own way. This place is NOT a gallery - it is a philosophical statement grounded firmly in the NOW. More Soup for me, please!
Afterbefore was a great show about Hong Kong today, Revolution of our time
Great gallery with great people. They are a positive element in the arts community. They pull in impactful artists and knowledgeable, enthusiastic people that appreciate the arts.
Rude and disrespectful place. No regard for neighbors. If you care about the Lower East Side avoid this place
Chinatown Soup is a cute little gallery on Orchard Street that hosted my friend's Buddhist-y paintings. It has a great unpretentious feel to it, and it looks like there is someone's house in the back.
Lovely place for artists to exhibit their work and for people to connect.
Great place, art and events. Best caffe corretto in town... competing with Rome...
An unassuming space hosting some awesome events and art exhibitions
