AMAZING moving company. These guys do not quit- they managed a very complicated big heavy couch + stairs and small hallway situation with determination and succeeded. Worked hard and extremely efficiently which made our moving day a breeze. Pay them every cent and more, they’re worth it.
excellence service , very professional mover, definitely chinese movers is a best pick.. thank you very much for everything from my old house nicely move into a new house
I agree with another writer below. I am writing this to warn others who may be considering this company. They doubled the quoted price on the day of the move $800 to $1400! First they were very late, rude and then they parked at a fire hydrant, got a ticket and told me that I was responsible for the ticket!!! I laughed and told them to fool someone else. I had everything packed and in the hallway. They said that quote is always an estimate and that if there are more things then the price goes up. To be honest, I had forgotten to include a dresser and 2 nightstands. Then they said that because they have to climb 7 steps the price goes up. When I initially spoke to Andy over the phone he asked me if the building has an elevator and I said yes. He never even asked me to ask whether there are any steps to the service elevator. Questions a responsible and reasonable moving company should ask their clients. I FINALLY AGREED TO THEIR DEMANDS OF $1300 b/c I was in a desperate situation. Then they demanded a 15% tip or service charge. All my things were in the hallway in boxes, so I felt I was essentially being ransomed. I was in such a desperate situation, so I agreed to that as well. Finally, the mover got into a fight with my doorman over some silly stuff and THEY LEFT WITHOUT MOVING ANY THING. They asked me to pay the parking ticket that the truck got for parking in the fire hydrant!!! I was stuck in a terrible situation with having to apologize to my building about the mess these guys created. My boxes are on the street. Thankfully, I called another moving company NYC Movers and they were SO Professional and asked all the questions and gave the SAME quote as these Chinese Mover but it was so smooth and professional. These Chinese Movers are not professional. People like me think that by going with these guys you are going to save money. But that is not true. I got the same or LOWER rate from so many other companies after this mess. Thankfully NYC Movers came through and saved the day.
I do not understand how previous reviews can describe this company accurately. I was over the top satisfied with their service. My move from New Jersey to Brooklyn was completed in 5 hours. I contacted Chinese Movers because I sensed the dishonesty of another moving company, Simonik. My initial estimate of $1300, for a bedroom set, dining room set, a bistro set and curio, was changed to $1500 after 4 dining room chairs were added to the list of items. Each chair was considered 5 cubic feet. I can understand that additional items would increase the cost of the service. However, after reviewing the list again, a 50 cubic feet cabinet appeared on the list that I did not own. I asked for a correction on the list and it was made immediately. However, when I asked for a revision of the estimate, the serviceman said it would be the same, $1500. When I decided to call the Chinese Movers, I decided to include my living room set because I was not successful in finding an organization to donate my living room furniture. Jacky and his men were very accommodating. For moving three rooms of furniture, a bistro set and curio, I was given an estimate of $600. On the day of the move, I asked if an old dining room set in Brooklyn could be removed and a detour to drop off my couch was possible. Jacky only added $50 to the cost. When Jacky and his movers came, all my furniture pieces were wrapped in plastic immediately. Smaller items from my closets that were not discussed initially were placed on the truck without hesitation. Jacky and his team helped re"move" the stress from the whole experience. I highly recommend them!!!!
These people are trash. I got them and they came and I forgot to tell them about one item and they got angry and stormed out of my house don't get them they are horrible.
Very fast very clean no damages at all . Very reasonable prices
I have used them twice! These guys can carry ANYTHING.
The most unprofessional people I ever dealt in my entire life
