Chinese Musician Restaurant

I've been ordering takeout from here for years. I can't speak to the delivery or in-restaurant service, but the food has always been great, and the cashier has always been kind. It's so nice having a place like this in Greenpoint. Like people have said, it's no frills with standard American-style Chinese food. It feels very nostalgic and comforting. The next time you're looking for Chinese food, please give this place a shot! They have a very reasonably priced lunch special!

Poor me, LOL. $15 for plain Chinese broccoli, oily and some of garlic is bad. Looks like they use rotten stuff! I wasn't planning to eat at this place. I was waiting for my appointment at a place nearby. So I just want small thing to fill my empty stomach up. I should learn long time ago that this type of place has unhealthy food and terrible cook, but I wasn't expecting the worst food and unwelcome service. Please runaway.

If i could give it 0 Stars i would. Worst customer service. Me and my coworkers ordered food from here for delivery got the food and their was a peice of metal or i don't know what it was called them to get a refund and they refused i asked to speak to the manager and they didn’t even pass me to manager. Dont eat her so many other places you can order from .

Ordered lemon chicken and it was just fried chicken with lemon slices and white rice. Wasnt even that much chicken and it was 17.xx dollars with cash. Maybe other stuff on menu is betterFood: 2/5

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews - ordered take out and everything tasted good. I would say it’s more like a no-frills classic American Chinese food. Nothing out of this world, but for the price and quality I think it’s 5 stars. Got Generals Tso’s and it was good. Not too spicy - has that sweet and spicy flavor. Breading to chicken ratio - heavier on the breading side - but was warm and comforting. Egg rolls were also good - just a classic egg roll. Considering price and how fast pickup was - will definitely come back.

Got an order to-go coming back from a weekend roadtrip. Ordered a large wonton soup that normally comes with 10 wontons, we received a large soup with just 5 wontons :/. We called to double check how many wontons came in a large and they confirmed 10. When we told them we had 5, they were silent. So I said never mind, that’s fine. The chicken in garlic sauce taste a little sour. Seems like it was towards the end of its freshness. Only wasted $25, but still all very disappointing and we won’t be coming back.

BEST CHINESE FOOD IN GREENPOINT! All the bad reviews are wrong, this place is a no- fuss delicious Chinese restaurant. We’ve enjoyed take out from here 3 times and each time the dishes are flavoursome, well prepared and not too salty. Sometimes Chinese food upsets my stomach for a couple hours, I’ve never had this with Chinese musician which leads me to believe they use quality ingredients and good meat. Some of our favourites are: sesame dumplings, general Tsos, shrimp and lobster noodles and beef vegetables

The food is good I've been eating here for years. The only thing I did not like is there delivery man he is very very rude.Food: 5/5

Probably the worst eating out experience in my life. Food was just inedible. And regading to very previous reviews it seems they don't care about customers experience at all.

Best Chinese food anywhere. I traveled from LI to enjoy good food and take home. Dumplings are perfect. Thin and delicious. All their food is great as are the owners, cook and staff Kid-friendliness: My granddaughter has gone there since she was 1 1/2yrs and they were always accommodating. They made here origami and always gave her dessert and cookies. She's 12yrs old now and still love their food and their kindness toward her
