Chip's Family Restaurant

We went for breakfast today; the food was good. It is usually busy between 8am-11am on the weekends and during Holidays. The wait is not too bad. I am a return customer. They serve breakfast all day; you also have lunch and dinner menu. There’s a small breakfast specials from 8 - 11 am; & lunch & dinner specials afterwards. There are so many options to choose. Definitely would recommend this place to a friend.

Everything was on point for an early Sunday morning. I mean from the moment we stood outside - Adam’s hospitable service was outstanding. We literally only waited like 5-7mins. I walked inside and asked for a cup of tap water bc CT fountain water is good, but it was for our pet Maltese poodle, Oreo who enjoyed it as well. While he was being babysat in the car with our oldest daughter. Once we sat down we met Connor, our waiter who was very attentive to our needs and got us everything we needed. No complaints! The food was delicious and we all enjoyed our breakfast meals and drinks. Sad part of everything was that we had to head back on down to Virginia. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Always stop by this family spot on my way up to RI or MA. Service is always great, great prices and a solid spot for brunch. Will always have it on our rotation for brunch spots!

Nice, family-friendly restaurant serving breakfast all day. This was exactly what we were looking for. They have many unusual varieties of pancakes to choose from as well as build your own pancake options & many other breakfast choices. The portions are huge with each order containing 5 good-sized pancakes. I wish that they had an option on the menu to order a short stack of 2 pancakes for a lower price instead. Overall the service was good & the food was delicious. Kid-friendliness: The kids absolutely loved the food. They ended up splitting a full size order of 5 pancakes since the flavor that they wanted was not available on the kid's menu.

I placed a order for pick up. It was the worst pancakes I've ever had. The pancakes taste like they were microwaved. I asked for toppings in my order and I never got them. The eggs are watery. I prefer the other location. Chips in Fairfield it's just disgusting.

This is a friendly, family spot. It's like a Jersey diner! Always greeted with a smile and have so far, been seated right away. I will warn you though, the crowd builds midmorning in weekends. There were lines when I left.Food: 4/5

I treated my Dad to breakfast, he had short stack pancake & I had the Patriotic pancake. EXTREMELY delicious and filling. Ashley server great!Food: 5/5

I forgot about chips for a long time, but glad I came back. I love the fact that I’m hard pressed to decide between savory & sweet at a pancake shop. Their omelets are just that good. The fresh, strong coffee is also a big plus.
